Recently, I found that my blood pressure readings had jumped up again. I was starting some new projects, some of which could potentially be pretty stressful. Along with meditation, managing my medications, improving my diet and using this tapping script, I was able to bring my blood pressure readings back down into a healthy range. While this EFT tapping script is not intended to be considered medical advice, I think others might find it helpful to tune into what their body is telling them and help reduce their stress levels.

EFT Tapping Script Listening to my body.

This is a relaxation exercise.

It is not intended to be medical advice.

Begin by taking a slow breath in through the nose,

And a long exhale through the mouth.

Let your shoulders drop.

Allow this time to be just for you.

You will want to repeat these words if they resonate for you.

If they don't,

Feel free to replace them with words that do resonate.

Setup Statement.

Tapping on the Karate Chop Point on the side of the hand.

Even though my body has been holding stress,

And my blood pressure or other symptoms may be responding to that stress,

I choose to approach myself with gentleness and compassion.

Even though I may have been pushing,

Striving,

Or staying on alert,

Maybe it's time to listen to my body,

And I deeply honor myself right now.

Even though I don't need to fix everything in this moment,

Maybe it's time to lower my stress,

And allow peace to begin right now.

Top of the head.

Maybe it's time to listen to my body.

Maybe my body has wisdom for me.

Eyebrow.

Maybe it's time to consolidate what I have learned.

I don't need to take in more right now.

Side of the eye.

Letting go of needing to learn more right now.

Letting my nervous system rest.

Under the eye.

Maybe it's time to lower my stress.

My body has been carrying a lot.

Under the nose.

I acknowledge the pressure I've been under.

And I'm open to easing it.

Chin.

Choosing gentleness with my thoughts,

My body,

And my heart.

Collarbone.

Inviting peace into my body.

Collarbone.

Inviting peace into my chest.

Into my breath.

Into my blood flow.

Under the arm.

Compassion for myself,

Even for the ways I've pushed too hard.

Top of the head.

Maybe it's time to go within.

To slow down.

To be still.

Eyebrow.

Maybe it's time to listen more deeply.

Beyond noise.

Beyond urgency.

Side of the eye.

What is my body telling me when I allow myself to hear?

Under the eye.

My body may be asking for rest.

For kindness.

For space.

Under the nose.

I don't have to figure it all out right now.

I can simply listen.

Chin.

Letting my heart rate soften.

Letting my blood pressure gently ease.

Every breath sends a message of safety.

Every exhale releases tension.

Under the arm.

My body knows how to find balance.

When I stop fighting it.

Integration round.

You might want to tap a little bit slower or softer during this round.

Top of the head.

Choosing calm over urgency.

Choosing presence over pressure.

Eyebrow.

Maybe it's time to listen to my body.

Side of the eye.

Maybe it's time to lower my stress.

Under the eye.

Gentleness.

Under the nose.

Peace.

Compassion for myself.

Chin.

I am allowed to slow down.

Collarbone.

I am allowed to rest.

Under the arm.

I am allowed to listen.

Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.

Take three slow breaths.

Silently ask.

What is my body telling me right now?

And trust that even if the answer is quiet,

Your body feels heard.
