
Morning Priming For A Great Day
This meditation will get you jumping out of your bed excited to start the day! Breathing, visualisation and beautifully curated empowering music. Transcript
Take a moment to sit comfortably and begin to relax your mind and your body,
Focusing on the inhalation and then the exhalation of your breath.
The muscles in your scalp and behind your eyes and your temples and your mouth and your jaw are relaxed.
The muscles in your neck and your shoulders and your chest and your back are relaxed.
The muscles in your arms and your forearms and your fingers are relaxed.
The muscles around your hips and your upper legs and your shins are relaxed.
The muscles around your ankles and your toes are relaxed.
Your body is weighted and heavy and you are allowing your subconscious to be free.
Now I want you to take a moment to think about when you are truly grateful for something.
Cast your mind back to a time in your past when you were truly grateful.
Start to create an image in your mind.
Maybe it's a movie.
Maybe it's a picture.
Maybe it's lots of short clips showing you times when you were grateful in the past.
And what can you see?
Now think about what you can hear.
Maybe you can hear sounds of the environment or maybe it's something you say to yourself in your head.
And finally,
Think about what you can feel.
Maybe you can feel the wind on your skin or the patter of rain upon your head.
Or maybe you can feel something inside yourself,
A feeling in your stomach of excitement and joy.
Start to build this image,
This movie.
Start to feel how grateful you are for this moment,
Remembering this amazing time in your past.
And now I want you to get rid of this image however you see fit.
You are the architect,
You are the painter.
Maybe it's like you put your hand in the image and it's like water.
The image just ripples away.
And I want you to move to another time when you were grateful.
But now it's going to be a time in the present.
What are you thankful for now?
And again,
Create an image of what you are thankful for.
Maybe it is something simple,
Purely that you had a warm shower this morning and the fact that that shower is here and it's so easy for you to take is such a huge thing that often many people will not even think about.
The fact that many,
Many years ago you would have to collect the water,
Build a fire to heat the water and even then you would not have a shower that would rain water down upon you.
Recognise something in your life,
See it,
Hear it and feel it.
How grateful you are for that thing.
And again when you're ready,
As if removing the image in a reflection of water,
We will move to the last image of gratefulness.
It is a place in the future.
What are you grateful for and thankful for that is going to come?
Maybe it's a holiday that you have booked that you are soon to go on.
Maybe it is seeing a friend this evening.
You're the architect and you are the painter.
Again what can you see?
Start to construct the larger parts of the image.
Is it a movie or lots of pictures?
Then start to create the finer details.
What can you hear outside and in?
And what can you feel?
Can you feel something blowing through your hair or a feeling in your throat,
An emotion of happiness,
Of joy?
And again,
Whichever way you feel is right for you,
Get rid of this image in your mind,
This movie.
And now we're going to move to connecting,
Connecting with everyone around you.
We are all humans,
One organism.
What you do impacts on others and what they do impacts on you.
So I want you to imagine that you're in a space.
There is nothing else in this space but you and I want you to see it from your point of view,
Through your eyes.
You can see your hands and your body,
Your feet,
Your legs.
Now look around this space,
Feel yourself in this space and as you do you notice somewhere,
Maybe from the ground or from in the air,
A white light begins to appear.
Maybe it's like roots of a tree entering through your feet.
The light starts to crawl up and move into your shins and your knees.
And as it does,
You can feel an energy,
A positive energy moving through your body.
And as it goes further up to your knees and to your thighs,
Into your hips and your stomach,
You feel more and more energised,
Healing your body,
Giving you motivation for the day.
And it goes further still,
It goes up to your chest and into your heart and lungs and into your shoulders and your arms and your fingertips,
Electrifying your whole body and up into your neck and your jaw,
Your temples,
Your mind,
Your brain.
Every part of you is filled up with this positive energising light.
You can feel it healing your body.
Just feel what it's like to have this energy inside you.
And now with this energy inside you,
I want you to share it with the world.
To see your whole body full of light.
When you're ready,
You can expand.
Start to send this light out,
Out into the world.
And as it expands,
It starts to envelop maybe your house or wherever you are.
Starts to envelop the people around you and starts to connect you with them.
With that light,
You're sharing in the same light.
And as it expands further,
It goes maybe to the local shops around you and the businesses and the people that you come across on your daily routine.
And as it expands further,
It goes into your borough and into your city and starts to expand and envelop everyone within it.
And as it expands further,
It starts to take people in the state that you live in.
As it goes further and further,
It starts to expand and takes up the whole of the country that you live.
Everyone within it,
Everyone is a human,
Everyone with their problems,
With their dreams,
With their motivations,
With their energy,
Connecting with you,
Realizing that everything you do affects them and everything they do affects you.
You're all part of one thing.
And as it expands further,
You go into the neighboring countries around you and you feel connected even to those people and further still,
As it connects and envelops the whole of the world.
And as you look upon it,
You can see the electrifying energy connecting every single organism,
Including yourself.
And you're all one family and you must look after each other.
And slowly,
I want you to let this energy go.
Feeling connected.
Just take a note of where that feeling is and how good it feels to think about others.
Now lastly,
I want you to go forwards in time now.
I want you to think about a moment in your future.
It could be a few days from now.
It could be six months.
It could be a year.
It could be more.
You decide.
But let your subconscious take you there.
I want you to let your subconscious create a picture now of that time and that place and just trust you know when it is.
And start to create that picture now,
That movie.
Remember,
You are the architect.
You are the creator of this place.
What things can you see?
Again,
Build the larger things in the image or the movie.
Maybe it's lots of small clips put together.
And how are you seeing it?
Are you seeing it through your eyes or from just outside?
What smaller details can you notice?
Maybe the texture of some cloth that your hand brushes against or the feeling of your hands running through someone's hair.
What sounds can you hear?
Can you hear people talking around you?
Maybe you can hear your heartbeat increasing,
Your breath getting louder.
Maybe you can hear yourself saying something to yourself that you know you've reached this amazing place in the future that you've always wanted.
Giving yourself positive affirmations.
And what do you feel inside?
Is there a feeling,
A tingling in your fingers and your toes,
The excitement of being in this place?
And now keep building this image,
More and more detail.
Increase the feeling,
Increase the sounds,
Increase the vibrance of the colours.
And then just know,
During today,
The rest of your day,
You will move forward towards this dream that you have had.
And when you're ready,
You can place your hand in that water and create the ripples that get rid of that image in that movie.
Take a few moments just to bring yourself back to the room and hear the sounds and feel your body wherever you are seated.
Move your fingers and your toes,
And when you're ready you can open your eyes,
Knowing that you've prepared yourself for the day.

I listen to my own meditations. Is that bad....lol. This helped me lift and focus my spirit durint some long winters back when i loved in London. Now i live in Bali. It worked ;
