Take a moment and close your eyes.

Soften through your forehead,

Around your eyes,

Soften through your jaw.

Release the root of your tongue,

Gently pressing your lips together as you breathe in and out through your nose.

Checking in with your breath.

Take notice of where your breath is landing in your body.

Maybe trying to draw your breath deeply down into your belly and slowing down as you slowly inhale through your nose,

Filling your belly and then slowly exhaling through your nose,

Allowing your belly button to move closer to your spine.

Giving yourself this opportunity to slow down,

To connect to your breath and to come back to your truest self.

Letting your breath drive you through this practice and honoring this time,

This time in silence,

This time in connection to yourself.

Take a moment and check in with your body.

Feel where your body connects either to the floor,

A chair,

Maybe your bed.

Feel into all those points of connection,

Allowing gravity to take over as you soften into this moment.

Let's take this moment to explore a beautiful space in nature.

Maybe it's a space you've been before,

Maybe through your childhood or somewhere that you felt safe to explore.

Maybe near the water or in a field or in the forest.

Wherever that space is,

Allow your mind to explore,

Taking in the serenity,

Taking in the peaceful elements of nature all around you as your breath continues to move in and out.

What do you see?

Maybe you see the blue of the water or the greens of the fields.

Maybe there's some flowers.

Maybe you see large trees shading you from the sun.

What does the ground look like?

How does the ground feel under your feet or your body?

Taking in the energy from the ground below,

Whether it's soil,

Grass or moss or maybe sand or stone,

And allow that grounding force to carry you and to hold you,

Leaning into that safety.

Take a moment and imagine what you may smell.

Maybe it's salt water nearby or maybe it's the perfumey scent of some flowers,

Wild flowers.

Maybe it's just the freshness of being outdoors.

What is it that you hear?

Maybe there's some waves lapping up close to you.

Maybe there's a gentle breeze moving the leaves around you.

Maybe there's some crickets or maybe some songbirds chirping in the distance.

Taking in all of these different elements around you and feeling that sense of freedom and peace as your breath continues to support you on this journey,

This adventure in nature,

In your safe space,

Reminding yourself that nature is always there to hold you and to give you time to reflect,

Time to pause and time to breathe.

Releasing any tension and if there is any tension still being felt,

Maybe breathing into those places,

Simply allowing for more opportunity to rest,

To relax and to gift yourself this opportunity for space,

Slowing down and staying here in this place of peace and solitude and freedom for as long as you feel you need to today,

Allowing yourself the opportunity,

The opportunity to come back to yourself,

To be held.

Whenever you feel that this opportunity is ready to move,

Take your time slowly bringing yourself back to this space,

Wherever you are,

On the floor,

Your bed or your chair.

Slowly bringing yourself back but still always remembering that you have this opportunity to come back to this safe space.

Always have the opportunity to come back to your breath.

You always have the opportunity to slow down.

Whenever you're ready,

Slowly,

Gently blinking your eyes open and slowly,

Gently maybe wiggling your fingers and toes,

Maybe rolling your neck,

Maybe shifting your shoulders side to side as you return back into this space.

Thank you for sharing this moment with me.

I look forward to the next time.

Lots of love.
