Welcome to the Pritivi Mudra Meditation.
Find a comfortable position.
Preferably.
Sitting upright.
Yeah.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and sigh it out through your mouth.
Sigh.
Feel the weight of your hips,
The quiet gravity that lives low in the pelvis.
Let your breath find you,
Rather than trying to control it.
Now bring your hands in two.
Pratibhimutra.
Your thumb.
To ring finger.
Gently.
Almost like you're making a promise to yourself.
And the other fingers lengthened without effort.
Rest the backs of your hands on your thighs or in your lap,
Palms open to receive.
Feel free to gently close your eyes.
Stay close to your belly.
Feel the breath move there.
Usually there is a moment right as the mudra settles when the inside of the body shifts.
A loosening behind the collarbone or a subtle widening in the low back.
A sense of thickness returning to the edges of you.
Let your body guide you.
Let your spine strengthen and lengthen enough that your ribs can move freely.
Shoulders softened.
Jaw loosens.
This is you calling your body back into grounding.
Feel the earth element in your palms.
The warmth,
The heaviness,
The quiet hum.
Feel the sensation.
Notice what's there,
Even if it's faint.
And let that warmth drift down your arms into your pelvis.
Let your hips become heavy.
Heavy in the way that feels safe,
Claimed,
And inhabited.
Breathe into that heaviness.
Breathe in a golden warm light.
And exhale any tensions you might hold.
Notice what happens in your mind when your body grounds.
Thoughts might soften their pace.
And it's just blur.
Bring your awareness to every place where your body needs support.
Let each point connecting you to the ground anchor you a little more.
This is the moment where your system stops bracing and starts trusting again.
Stay with the warms in your palms.
Let it meet the base of your spine.
And feel houses present.
Presence changes your breath.
Feel how it changes the way your chest rises.
Feel how it shifts your capacity to stay with yourself.
You.
Take another slow inhale.
And on the exhale,
See if there's one place you can soften by breathing into it a little more.
Maybe it's your face,
Maybe your lower belly.
Maybe the space around your heart.
Breathe into it some more love.
And acceptance.
And let that softening spread.
Remain here for a few breaths.
Warm hands,
Heavy hips,
Steady awareness.
This is the ground where pleasure begins,
Simply through grounded presence.
When your body feels held from the inside,
Your pleasure has room to expand.
And when you're ready,
You can release the mudra again.
Let your fingers soften.
Lift your gaze or open your eyes again.
And notice how you sit differently now.
How your presence feels thicker,
Fuller,
And more yours.
Take that with you into the rest of your day and evening.
Thank you very much.
