This guided meditation uses Sama Vritti, or Equal Breath, to regulate the nervous system and promote inner balance. Set to original music, this practice helps calm racing thoughts, reduce anxiety, and bring the body into a steady, grounded rhythm. You’ll be guided to breathe in equal parts, inhale, hold, exhale, hold while syncing your breath to a beat designed to support your flow. Perfect for beginners and seasoned meditators alike, this session creates space for presence, clarity, and stillness. Safety Note: If you are pregnant, have a respiratory condition, cardiovascular issues, or experience dizziness or panic with breath holds, please consult with a medical professional before beginning this practice.

Welcome.

This is a meditation that blends your breath with creative expression.

Today,

We'll practice Samavritti,

Equal breath with inhale,

Hold,

Exhale,

And hold,

Or all of equal length.

To deepen this practice,

We'll connect it to a beat and breathe to the beat.

There's no need to rush.

This is about expression,

Not perfection.

Find a comfortable seat or position and let your spine rise tall.

Let your shoulders drop.

Gently close your eyes if that feels safe and begin to notice the natural rhythm of your breath.

No need to change anything yet.

Just observe and let yourself arrive.

We will begin with a few rounds of breath together to practice,

And then I will start the music and we will breathe to the music.

And so what this will look like is first taking an inhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And do nothing,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And again,

Inhale,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And do nothing,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

We'll do one more round like this.

Inhaling for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Holding,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Exhale,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And do nothing,

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And now we're gonna start to breathe to the beat.

I'm here with you and we'll be guiding you.

So let's get ready.

Starting to inhale,

Hold,

Exhale,

Inhale,

Exhale,

Inhale.

Exhale,

Inhale,

Exhale.

And let your breath return to a natural rhythm.

You've just synced your body and mind.

You showed up for yourself.

Take a moment to notice how you feel.

How you feel more grounded,

More open,

More clear.

Remember,

You can return to your breath anytime.

It's yours,

It's always here.

When you come back,

Open your eyes and move forward with calm,

With presence,

With you.

Have a beautiful day.
