Let's all take a minute just to really arrive here and be here without it looking a certain way or having to be anything.
So maybe inviting some longer inhales into the body and then just see where it reaches,
Where it leads.
And then you can push out those exhales,
Long,
Slow,
Full.
Another big breath into the body,
Filling,
Filling,
Filling,
Maybe a little bit more expansion here.
You can open mouth exhale,
Just dump that one out,
Release.
Let's do another big round just like that.
Fill the body with fresh breath.
Pause just slightly at the top,
Soften the shoulders,
Release any tension in the face and jaw.
And then exhale,
Slow,
Long,
Full,
Blow it out.
And maybe just now you might be truly arriving into the body,
Continue your rounds of breath here.
Maybe the body is beginning to soften even just ever so slightly and open.
Sometimes it just takes a couple rounds of breath for us to truly connect with all that we are so that we then can ask some of those deeper questions,
The simple questions,
Questions like,
How am.
.
.
So take a couple more rounds of breath here,
Simply trying on that question for yourself,
Perhaps for the first time today,
The first time this week,
Maybe the first time this month,
Hopefully not.
Where do I feel it?
Are they feelings,
Sensations,
Emotions?
Is it activity in the body?
Maybe you're noticing activity in the mind.
That's simply what this exercise is about,
Just observing and noticing and creating space for all of it to exist with harmony so that we can open our eyes and our hearts a little bit bigger and observe with curiosity and compassion.
To communicate to our body that it's okay to be right where we are right here and also,
I want to know more.
A couple more rounds of breath right here,
Simply to scan and discover what is true for you today.
One more question to invite in is,
What do I need right now?
What do I need from this space,
From our time together today?
Allow those little flickers of clarity and awareness to continue to come forward and just gather them up and then whisper a little thank you to yourself,
To your body,
For taking this time to trust you as you let a beautiful moment of reconnection and centering,
Of regulation,
Slowing down the breath,
Slowing down the mind,
Slowing down the heart,
And begin to deepen the breath here and perhaps bring some attention back into the space in which you are.
You can turn on the ears a little bit more,
Scanning for the sounds that you hear around you.
Then begin to flutter open your eyes,
Nice and slow,
With no rush.
Welcome back.
