Welcome,
My friend.
You're tuned in to On Haiku.
I'm your host,
Ma Moon.
I'm back with another music meditation just to soothe,
Just to relax,
Just to let go,
Just for you.
If you've been feeling stress,
Overwhelmed,
Anxious,
Depressed,
Lonely,
Misunderstood,
Experiencing despair,
Lack in limitations,
Scarcity,
Fear,
Feeling judged,
Insecure about your body,
A relationship,
Fed up with your boss,
Feeling frustrated with family,
Friends,
Strangers,
Yourself,
Perhaps even joyous,
Loving,
Peaceful,
Trusting,
Harmonious,
Or somewhere in-between.
Whatsoever you feel is a-okay.
We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can let go of some of the pain.
Becoming aware of your posture,
Aware of how you're sat,
Natural for the mind to drift,
Allowing the mind to do its thing.
As you witness and welcome the movement of thoughts,
Like old friends.
Witnessing and welcoming the emotion inside,
Like an oak.
Not pushing away anything,
But embracing whatsoever's inside.
Taking a deep breath in,
And a deep breath out.
Inhaling new life,
New energy.
And exhale,
Letting go.
Every cell in the body breathing in.
And every cell in the body breathing out.
Allowing the mind to be busy.
Allowing it to do its thing.
Enjoying the movement of the mind.
As you breathe in.
Inhaling trust.
And exhale,
Letting go of worries.
Letting go of fear.
As you come back to belief in yourself.
Taking a deep breath in,
And a deep breath out.
Inhaling into the belly.
And exhale,
Relaxing the belly.
Dropping the shoulders,
Relaxing the face,
The jaw,
The lips,
The forehead.
Aware of your body,
Aware of your posture.
As you breathe in.
Letting go of past mistakes,
Inner criticism,
Inner judgment.
Simply letting it go.
Breathing in compassion.
Breathing in faith in yourself.
Exhaling faith in others.
Becoming aware of your presence.
So take a deep breath in.
And holding the breath at the top.
Taking a deep breath in.
Breathing in through the nose.
Holding that breath at the top.
And exhale,
Let go.
Breathing into the belly.
And exhale,
Pushing the belly outwards.
Feeling the breath drop down from the chest into the bottom of the stomach.
Opening the heart space.
Coming back to love.
Remembering that as we move through life,
Love is like a superpower.
It can overcome anything.
The fears,
The setbacks,
The anxiety,
The worries,
The anger.
Love trumps all of that.
So powerful,
So resilient love is.
Breathing into the whole body.
And exhale,
Relaxing the whole body.
And exhaling with consciousness.
The color for today is beige.
The number is 56.
I thank you for joining me across time and space.
I'm sending you a big hug,
My dear friend.
Wishing you an abundance of love.
Compassion.
Compassion is not the easiest thing to have for ourself or other people.
Especially when we take things so personally.
We see that someone's gotten upset with us and we feel that it's our fault and there must be something wrong with us.
Then we get defensive and get upset with the other person for making us feel this way.
And like this,
Compassion is so far away.
So part of compassion is about understanding where is this coming from?
This person is being sort of mean or critical,
But being able to perceive deeper and see into the pain that they might be experiencing,
The suffering.
And that gives us some space to actually have more understanding,
More love for that person,
And more love for ourself too.
So this is a great practice that meditation can really support because compassion,
It takes awareness.
If we're not aware,
If we're not meditative,
Then we're likely just to take it personal,
To get offended,
To get insecure.
However it happens,
It's something to do with first just being aware,
Being perceptive.
And with that,
I will see you back here tomorrow with love.
