Hi there,
Darling,
Welcome.
Before we begin,
I want to dedicate this meditation to my dear friend,
Renee.
Renee is a massage therapist whose hands carry something more than skill.
They carry presence,
Care,
And the kind of therapeutic magic that lingers long after a session ends.
This is for her,
But it's also for you.
Because while we may not always have access to our therapist or healers,
We do have our own two hands,
And they hold the power to comfort,
Soothe,
And support us in ways we often forget.
So today,
We're going to remember,
We'll tune in to our touch,
And reconnect with the healing that lives right at our own fingertips.
So let's begin.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Let your hands rest loosely in your lap or by your side.
Close your eyes if that feels right,
Or simply soften your gaze.
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
And sigh it out of your mouth.
Again,
Breathe in through the nose,
And sigh it out of the mouth.
With each breath,
Allow your body to soften.
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your jaw unclench,
Let yourself land right here,
Right now.
Now gently bring your attention to your hands.
Notice them without judgment.
Are they warm or cool,
Still or fidgety,
Tired or tense?
Maybe they've been holding so much lately,
Literally or energetically.
Just observe.
Now slowly begin to rub your hands together.
Feel the friction,
The warmth building between them.
This is your own healing energy.
And if your hands feel tight or balled up,
Give them one last squeeze and then release,
Letting it go.
Let your breath move into your hands,
And let your energy flow.
If you are a healer or therapist,
Maybe your hands are tired.
This is your moment to re-feel the will.
Now gently place your hands on your chest.
Maybe one hand over your heart.
Pause here.
Breathe into the warmth you just created.
Feel the beating of your heart underneath your palm.
This is where the healing begins.
Say to yourself or out loud,
I send you love.
I send you healing.
When you're ready,
Slowly move your hands to your belly.
Notice how the warmth feels here.
Breathing in deeply and letting it out gently,
Let go of any butterflies,
Any nervous flutters.
Imagine them softening and flaring,
Floating away like they're emerging from a cocoon.
Their little wings once tight,
Now and again,
Say to yourself,
I send you love.
I send you healing.
The belly is powerful.
It holds your intuition,
Your immunity,
Your connection to the world around you.
Now slowly bring your hands up to your head.
Maybe you place them on your forehead or on the sides of your head,
Or one on your forehead and one on the back of your neck.
Your mind might be swirling like a tumbleweed dancing in the wind,
But just for now,
Let the dust settle.
Let your thoughts fade into the background and feel your mind become steel,
Like a quiet night sky,
And whisper to yourself once again,
I send you love.
I send you healing.
Take one more full breath in and let it go.
Letting your hands move one last time,
Placing them wherever your body is calling for a little more attention.
This is your healing,
Your touch.
Let it be gentle.
Let it be sacred.
And when you're ready,
Allow your hands to come back to your lap or by your side.
As we take our final deep breath in through the nose,
Let it out through your nose.
Let it filter what's needed.
Let it release what's not.
Now,
Slowly wiggle your fingers,
Rolling your wrists round and round,
Open and close your palms like flower petals blooming.
You don't have to do anything else,
Just be.
Let this be enough.
I thank you for being here.
Thank you for showing up for yourself.
Your healing hands,
They matter.
From one not-so-darling soul to another,
Keep those hands soft.
Keep that heart open.
Peace looks good on you.
