Hello,

Namaste,

Welcome.

My name is Mwape and today we'll be doing a 10 minute meditation on letting go and accepting the present moment.

Join me as we come to a comfortable seating position or you can find yourself laying down,

Whatever position calls to your heart at this present moment.

Once in your chosen resting pose,

Begin to soften your body as you lower your gaze,

Softening your eyes or letting them come to a close.

Take in conscious breaths following the natural rhythm of your breath.

Take a deep breath in and a slow exhale out.

Continuing with the natural rhythm of your breath,

Let your exhale slowly begin to soften,

Maybe becoming a little whisper or even a little hum.

And now as you become aware of this moment,

Notice what's present with you here.

Notice if there's any sensations arising in your body.

Whatever it is,

Just notice it.

Welcome in it with spaciousness.

Allow it to be,

Don't try and change it,

Don't chase it,

Don't try and push it away,

Just let it be.

As you accept what's arising,

Notice it and accept it.

Recall that acceptance and spaciousness,

Non-judgmental,

Unattached,

Just accepting whatever is coming to you in this present moment.

Through acceptance,

You give what it is that you have noticed the freedom to change.

When you and reality are no longer battling,

Reality is no longer trying to defend itself.

Softly whisper to yourself,

Thanks to my acceptance,

There is a softening happening around me.

There is a movement of stagnant energy,

There is freedom in this moment.

Thanks to my acceptance,

There is a softening happening around me.

There is a movement of stagnant energy,

There is freedom in this moment.

Accept all the sensations that are arising in the body,

Offer it softness,

Give it space,

Give it freedom.

Welcome it and accept it without attaching,

Without trying to push it away,

Just let it be.

This is just how things are right now.

Notice,

Welcome,

Accept.

And let it go with each exhale.

Sensing the whole body,

The breath and the mind itself,

Opening into the freedom of acceptance,

Learning to let go.

The mind is energy and energy is always up here.

It's up to you to choose which type of energy you want to invite in.

Notice,

Welcome,

Accept and let it go.

From the spaciousness of acceptance,

Tap into the wisdom that acceptance provides you.

Allowing a deep sense of renewal to wash over you.

Where there was once tightness,

Feel expansion.

Where there was once heaviness,

Feel lightness.

This is your reset,

Your moment of healing,

Your gift to yourself.

Start to gently come back into your body.

Notice the feelings within your body.

Notice the sounds that are around you,

The breath,

The space that is around you and the world beyond.

Softly wiggling your fingers and toes,

Roll your shoulders.

If you're seated,

Maybe you start to take a little moment to come into your body.

And if you're laying down,

Maybe you just take a little stretch side to side.

Slowly awaken yourself back into this moment,

Into this room,

Into this space.

Take one last deep,

Nourishing breath in and a long,

Releasing exhale out.

When you're ready,

Slowly begin to open your eyes.

Take your time,

There is no rush here.

You have just given yourself the space to accept and let go.

And in doing so,

You have created expansion for something new.

Carrying this lightness with you.

Revisit this meditation whenever you need to.

Letting go is not a one-time event.

It's a practice,

A returning,

Remembering that peace is always within you,

Within reach.
