Hi,

I'm JJ.

Welcome to day 18 of our 21 day meditation challenge for weight loss.

Today we will focus on finding inner peace.

In the midst of a life challenge,

Cultivating a sense of inner calm can help you stay grounded,

Centered,

And resilient.

Start by finding a comfortable seated position,

Either on a chair with your feet firmly planted on the ground or cross-legged on a cushion.

Let your spine be tall but relaxed and rest your hands softly on your knees or in your lap.

Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs completely.

Hold it briefly,

Then exhale slowly through your mouth,

Letting go of any tension.

Repeat this two more times and allow yourself to settle into a state of a realization and focus.

Now bring your awareness to your breath,

Noticing the gentle rise and fall of your chest and stomach.

With each inhale,

Imagine joy in calmness and tranquility.

With each exhale,

Let go of any stress or worry,

Releasing it from your body and mind.

Picture a peaceful place,

A sanctuary where you feel completely safe and at ease.

It could be a real place you know or a place you imagine.

As you breathe,

See yourself in this serene environment,

Surrounded by the soothing energy of peace.

Allow this peaceful energy to fill every part of your being,

Calming your thoughts and relaxing your body.

Know that this inner peace is always available to you,

Even in the midst of chaos.

Focus on anchoring this sense of peace within yourself.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine this calm energy growing stronger and radiating from your center out to every corner of your body.

Visualize this peace as a warm light that protects and nurtures you,

Providing strength and resilience in the face of a challenge.

No matter what happens around you,

This inner peace remains unshaken.

If any thoughts or worries arise,

Gently acknowledge them and then let them drift away.

Like leaves floating on a calm river,

Keep returning to the steady,

Peaceful rhythm of your breath.

Take a moment to set an intention to carry this inner peace with you throughout your day.

It might be something like,

I remain calm and centered no matter what comes my way or I choose to nurture my inner peace in every moment.

Silently repeat your intention to yourself,

Allowing it to take root within your mind and heart.

Feel this intention guiding you,

Helping you maintain a sense of calm and balance as you move through your day.

Take one last deep breath in,

Filling your body with the warmth and serenity of an inner peace.

Slowly exhale,

Bringing your awareness back to the present moment.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Stretch if you need to.

When you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Feeling calm,

Grounded and ready to face the day with a peaceful heart.

Thank yourself for dedicating this time to cultivate inner peace.
