Today's session is focused on fostering self-love.
Developing a loving and compassionate relationship with yourself is essential for lasting change and well-being.
This meditation will help you connect with your inner self and cultivate a deep sense of self-acceptance and kindness.
Find a comfortable seated position,
Either on a chair with your feet flat on the ground or crossed-legged on a cushion.
Let your spine be straight yet relaxed and rest your hands gently on your knees or in your lap.
Close your eyes softly and take deep breaths in through your nose.
Allow your lungs to fill completely and hold it for a brief moment.
Then exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension.
Repeat this breathing cycle two more times and letting yourself relax and focus.
Begin by bringing attention to your heart center,
The space in the middle of your chest.
Imagine a warm glowing light from this space,
Representing love and compassion for yourself.
As you breathe in,
Feel this light growing brighter and more radiant,
Filling your entire chest.
With each exhale,
Imagine releasing any self-criticism,
Doubt or negativity.
Allowing this feeling to dissolve,
Silently repeat to yourself,
I am worthy of a love and a kindness,
Or I embrace myself with compassion and understanding.
Let this affirmation sink deeply into your being and nurturing your sense of self-love.
Now,
Think of a time when you have been hard on yourself or faced a challenge.
Instead of focusing on the struggle,
Imagine offering yourself the same kindness and compassion you would give to a dear friend.
See yourself surrounded by a gentle,
Comforting light,
Providing warmth and support.
Allow yourself to feel fully embraced by this self-love and knowing that you are deserving of understanding and care.
As you continue to breathe and let this feeling of self-compassion expand,
Filling your entire body with a sense of peace and acceptance.
Take a moment now to set an intention to carry this self-love with you throughout the day.
Your intention might be,
I will treat myself with kindness and respect,
Or I choose to embrace myself with love and compassion.
Silently repeat this intention to yourself and letting it resonate throughout your entire being.
Feel this intention guiding your action and thoughts as you move through your day.
Take a final deep breath in and filling your body with love,
Compassion and acceptance.
Slowly exhale,
Bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Stretch if you need to.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes,
Feeling peaceful,
Loved and ready to continue your journey with a heart full of self-compassion.
