Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Let your hands rest softly wherever they fall.

Allow your shoulders to drop away from your ears.

Softly close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Take a slow deep breath in through your nose.

And an even slower breath out back through your nose or mouth.

Allow yourself to arrive here.

Nowhere else you need to be.

Nothing else you need to do.

Just here.

Breathe and soften.

As you breathe,

Begin to scan your body.

Start at the crown of your head and slowly move down.

Notice any areas that feel tight,

Tense,

Or heavy.

You don't need to fix anything.

Just notice.

Begin to imagine your breath as a warm golden light.

Softening those tense places.

Bringing gentleness.

Bringing healing.

Bringing cleansing.

Bringing rest.

With each exhale,

Feel your tension melting away.

Softening your forehead.

Your jaw.

Your throat.

Your chest.

Your heart.

Your belly.

Your legs.

Your feet.

Your hands.

You are safe to relax.

You are safe to simply be.

Now bring your awareness gently inward to the quiet,

Steady place inside you.

The place that remains whole no matter what happens outside of you.

You may have lost a job,

But you have not and could never lose your worth.

You are not your productivity.

You are not your paycheck.

You are not the title on a business card.

You are a living,

Breathing miracle.

A human being,

Not a human doing.

In our culture,

We are often taught that our value is tied to our output.

To how much we achieve.

To how busy we stay.

But that story is not the truth.

Your worth was born with you.

It was woven into every cell of your body before you ever lifted a finger to earn it.

Your worth cannot be upgraded by promotions,

Nor can it be diminished by layoffs.

Your worth simply is.

It always has been.

And perhaps right now,

You do not know exactly what comes next.

Perhaps the path ahead feels foggy or uncertain.

That is okay.

That is a part of the human experience.

You don't have to know.

You do not have to force the answers to come.

Instead,

This seemingly impossible situation is an opportunity,

An invitation to turn inward.

To pour into yourself.

Pour into your healing.

Pour into your passions.

Discover what they are if you don't know yet.

Pour into the small daily pleasures that bring you back to valuing and honoring your life.

Perhaps it's a morning walk.

A favorite book.

A moment spent creating something beautiful.

You are allowed to give yourself that gift.

This chapter is not a punishment.

It is an invitation.

An invitation to remember who you are beyond what you do.

You are needed here,

In this world,

In this universe,

Simply because you are.

Your existence.

Your smile.

Your quiet acts of kindness to yourself and to others.

They matter more than you can possibly understand.

Breathe that in now.

You don't have to hustle for your worth.

You already have your worth.

You always have had your worth.

Now,

Let's take these truths even deeper.

I invite you to simply sit,

To rest in your own active,

Living and loving presence.

Embrace your body as it breathes life every moment into yourself.

Feel the gentle rhythm of your inhale and your exhale.

Notice the subtle movements of your chest and belly.

Notice the ground beneath you,

Supporting you effortlessly.

If your mind wanders,

That's okay.

When you notice,

Gently return to the feeling of your breath.

You don't need to strive.

You don't need to solve anything.

You are simply here.

Alive.

Breathing.

Worthy.

Stay with your breath.

Stay with your body.

Stay with your enoughness.

Whenever you're ready,

Take a deeper breath in and a full releasing breath out.

Gently bring small movements back into your fingers and toes.

Stretch if it feels good.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Carry this remembering with you today.

You are whole.

You are worthy.

You are enough.

You are valuable.

This is your birthright.
