Let us begin by finding a
comfortable seated position with your spine straight and your hands resting
gently on your knees or in your lap.
Close your eyes softly allowing yourself
to settle into this moment.
Take a deep breath in through your nose feeling the
air fill your lungs and exhale slowly through your mouth letting go of any
tension or worries you may be holding on to.
As you continue to breathe deeply
and rhythmically allow your body to relax releasing any tightness or
discomfort you may be feeling.
Now bring your awareness to the present moment.
Notice the sensations in your body the rise and fall of your chest with each
breath.
The feeling of the ground beneath you supporting you.
Allow yourself to
simply be here in this moment without judgment or expectation.
Job loss can
bring about a whirlwind of emotions,
Fear,
Uncertainty,
Sadness.
It's okay to
acknowledge these feelings to let them wash over you without resistance.
But
