This isn’t your typical meditation—this is a liberation dance! In this playful IFS-inspired movement experience, you’ll be guided to connect with the parts of you that carry stress, shame, and pressure, and invite them to release through joyful, embodied movement. Set to the vibrant Caribbean rhythm of “Feeling Hot Hot Hot” by Arrow, this practice helps you shake off what no longer serves you and reclaim your inner freedom. No choreography, no rules—just you, your body, and the music.

Greetings and welcome to today's meditation on burdening.

Feel it,

Move it,

Free it.

This is an IFS dance to help you unburden your parts.

And if it feels okay for you to do so,

You can play the music in the background,

Feeling Hot,

Hot,

Hot by Arrow.

Welcome to this playful and powerful unburdening experience.

This isn't your typical meditation.

This is for the parts that want to move,

Groove,

And drop what they've been carrying through rhythm,

Sweat,

And joy.

You are invited to enter the dance floor of your own body with no pressure,

No choreography,

No perfection,

Just freedom.

Take a moment to arrive in your space.

Stand tall or bend your knees or sway your hips just start where you are.

And now we call forward the parts that have been carrying the weight of stress or fear,

The pressure to perform or be perfect.

The shame that says you have to hide,

You can't be yourself.

The belief that you're just not enough.

Well,

We see you,

We hear you,

And now we invite you to dance.

As you begin to play your music,

Remember it's Feeling Hot,

Hot,

Hot by Arrow.

Let your body find the beat.

Let it find its own groove,

Its own rhythm.

Its own method to be able to embrace the energy that's coming from the music.

You might,

You know,

Wanna shake your shoulders to drop the stress,

Stomp your feet to reclaim your power.

Spin and stretch and wiggle and bounce.

Let those burdens move through you.

Let them flow off of you.

Let your body release whatever it needs to release.

Let your body be the release valve.

Parts that are playful,

Parts that are afraid,

Parts that are angry,

Parts that may be unsure,

All of them are welcome.

No one is watching.

No one is judging.

This is your sacred permission slip to feel it,

To move it,

To free it.

Dance until the energy lifts.

Dance until you feel a breath of relief.

Dance until even one small weight rolls off your back.

Dance until your parts give that sigh of unburdening.

As the music fades,

Let your movements slow down.

Let your body begin to soften.

Maybe place your hand gently on your chest,

On your heart space or over your belly.

Take a breath,

Let it land.

Say to yourself quietly,

Thank you,

Body.

Thank you,

Parts.

Thank you for releasing what you could.

You've just unburdened through joy.

You've just unburdened through dance.

You have just unburdened with movement and it's like medicine.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you so much for tuning in to today's meditation.

Bye-bye for now.
