Greetings and welcome to today's video from the Reclaim Me Introduction Series,
Returning to Yourself.
Over the past few reflections,
We have explored what it means to lose touch with yourself.
We've explored the roles that you may carry.
The voice within you.
On the knees that may have been waiting.
Longing for your attention.
Today I want to leave you with a simple truth.
You don't need to become someone new.
You don't need to reinvent yourself.
You don't need to fix yourself because you're not broken.
The journey.
To reclaiming yourself is not about creating a different woman,
A different person.
It is about returning to the woman who has been there all along.
The woman beneath.
The expectations.
The woman beneath the responsibilities.
The woman beneath.
The duty and obligations.
The woman that's beneath.
Survival strategies or tactics.
The woman who's beneath the self-doubt.
Who's beneath?
Underneath.
Be overwhelmed.
Take a small breath in.
And see if you can deepen it with each inhale.
And if it feels okay.
To put your hand over your heart.
I invite you to do so.
I invite you just to imagine yourself.
Meeting yourself with kindness.
Not with judgment.
Not with criticism.
Not with disappointment.
Just kindness.
And if you can,
Can you imagine yourself saying,
I'm ready.
To know you again.
I'm ready.
To listen.
I'm ready to honor what matters to you.
Take a moment just to notice what's happening inside as you're seeing those words,
Repeating those words,
Hearing those words.
Perhaps you're noticing some relief.
Or some emotion.
Or some uncertainty.
But whatever you're noticing,
It's welcome.
Returning to yourself is not a destination.
It is a relationship.
It is a relationship that is built.
One choice at a time.
One breath at a time.
One act of self-trust on its mind.
And as we are beginning,
To start the process of closing this series out.
I invite you to reflect on the question.
What would change?
In my life if I treated myself.
As someone worth listening to.
What would change in your life if you treated yourself as someone worth listening to.
And I invite you just to take that question with you.
And allow it or even invite it.
To unfold over time.
And remember.
You're not too late.
You are not.
Too far gone?
You are not starting over.
You are simply coming home to yourself.
You are simply reclaiming.
Yourself.
Thank you so much for sharing this journey with me.
I am honored.
That you chose.
To begin the process.
Of reclaiming yourself.
Bye-bye for now.
