This week you've been working on reclaiming your inner authority,
Learning to trust yourself,
Learning to make decisions from your gut instead of seeking everyone's approval.
This meditation is designed to reconnect you with your masculine core,
The part of you that knows,
That doesn't waver,
That can hold a direction even when it's uncomfortable.
You're gonna feel this one.
In your body.
We're not just thinking about strength.
We're embodying it.
For this practice,
You can be seated or standing.
If you're able to stand,
I recommend it.
But if you need to sit,
That works too.
Just make sure your spine is upright and you feel stable.
When you're ready.
Let's begin.
Stand with your feet hip-width apart,
Or if you're seated,
Plant your feet firmly on the floor,
Feel the ground beneath you,
Press down slightly and feel the earth pushing back up.
Roll your shoulders back and down.
Lengthen your spine.
Imagine a string pulling the crown of your head toward the ceiling.
You're not rigid.
You're aligned,
Rooted and tall at the same time.
Now bring your hands to your hips or let them rest at your sides.
Whichever feels more powerful to you.
Feel the weight of your arms.
To strengthen your shoulders.
The stability in your core.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Filling your belly and chest.
And exhale with sound.
An audible sigh or breath.
Do this three times.
Let each exhale be strong,
Intentional.
Breathe in and out with power.
In and out.
One more.
End.
And release.
Now just stand here.
Or sit here with this posture.
Feel what it's like to take up space,
To be solid,
To not apologize for the room you occupy.
You are not performing right now.
You're not trying to impress anyone.
This is just you,
In your body,
Grounded in your strength.
Feel that.
Notice your chest.
Is it open?
Let it open a bit more.
Not puffed up,
Just open.
Available.
Present.
Notice your belly.
Let it be soft but strong.
This is your power center,
Your hara,
Your core.
Notice your legs.
And feel the strength in them.
They hold you.
They carry you.
They root you to the ground.
You are standing in your masculine core right now.
This is what it feels like.
Grounded.
Clear.
Present.
Strong without being aggressive.
Open without being weak.
Take one more deep breath here.
In.
And own.
Now bring your attention down into your belly,
About 2 inches below your navel.
This is where your gut knowing lives.
Not in your head.
Place one hand on your lower belly if that helps you focus.
Feel the warmth of your hand.
Feel the rise and fall of your breath in this space.
Your thinking mind is loud.
It analyses.
It second guesses.
It spins in loops.
But your gut?
Your gut knows.
It's quiet.
It's clear.
It doesn't need to justify itself.
I want you to bring to mind a decision you've been avoiding or second guessing.
Something you've been overthinking.
Maybe it's about your relationship.
Your work.
A boundary you need to set.
Conversation you need to have.
Don't think about it.
Just hold it lightly in your awareness.
You you Now drop your awareness back down into your belly.
Into your gut.
And ask this simple question.
What do I know to be true?
Not,
What should I do?
Not,
What will make everyone happy?
Just.
.
.
What do I know to be true?
Not with your head,
With your body.
Your gut will answer.
It might be a word,
A feeling,
An image,
A sense of expansion or contraction.
If your gut says yes,
You'll feel it as opening,
As relief,
As rightness,
Even if it's scary.
If your gut says no,
You'll feel it as tightening,
As resistance,
As forcing,
Trust what you feel.
Don't override it with your thinking mind.
Just notice it.
Your gut already knows.
You've just been ignoring it.
Overriding it.
Seeking approval from everyone else because you were taught not to trust yourself.
But you can trust yourself.
You do know.
You've always known.
Take a breath into your belly.
Feel the knowing there.
It's solid.
It's clear.
It doesn't waver.
Say this to yourself silently or aloud.
I trust what I know.
I trust my gut.
I trust myself.
Let that land in your body.
Feel the truth of it.
Now I want you to visualize yourself taking action on what you know to be true.
See yourself having that conversation,
Making that decision,
Setting that boundary,
Doing the thing you've been avoiding.
Watch yourself move with clarity,
With purpose,
With no hesitation.
You're not waiting for permission.
You're not seeking approval.
You're just acting from your centre.
Notice how you stand,
How you speak,
How you carry yourself.
This is you in alignment.
This is you trusting yourself.
Feel what it's like to commit.
Not forever.
Not perfectly.
But for now.
.
.
You've made the decision,
And you're following through.
Notice the relief in your body,
The freedom,
The power that comes from not abandoning yourself.
You might be afraid.
That's okay.
Fear doesn't mean you're making the wrong choice.
Fear just means it matters,
But underneath the fear,
There's clarity,
There's knowing.
There's your masculine core saying.
This is the direction,
Move.
Now bring your attention back to your body.
Back to your feet on the ground.
Back to your breath.
Take a deep inhale.
And exhale.
Say this commitment to yourself.
I act on what I know to be true.
I trust my God.
I move with clarity and purpose.
Feel that commitment settle into your bones.
Enter your core.
This is who you are when you're not overthinking.
When you're not seeking approval,
When you're just present,
Grounded and clear.
When you're ready.
Gently open your eyes if they were closed.
Feel yourself here.
Grounded.
Clear.
Ready to act.
You just reconnected with your masculine core.
The part of you that knows.
That doesn't waver.
That can make decisions and hold them.
This isn't about being perfect.
It's about being aligned.
It's about trusting yourself enough to act.
Even when you don't have all the answers.
Come back to this practice anytime you're stuck in indecision.
Drop into your body,
Ask your gut what it knows,
And then trust it,
You've got this.
See you in the next lesson.
