Breaking out of that gloomy, ungrateful mindset can sometimes feel like an impossible feat. In this embodied gratitude practice, you'll tap into the radiant light of appreciation within your heart. As you silently acknowledge all that you're thankful for - from the nourishing food in your fridge to the loved ones who support you - you'll feel that warm energy expanding and any lingering heaviness or tension in your body will begin to melt away. Emerge from this meditation feeling rejuvenated, uplifted, and ready to meet the day with an attitude of abundance. No more trudging through the morning in a fog of unappreciation. Instead, you'll be empowered to savor the goodness all around you and welcome even more positivity into your life.

Good morning,

And welcome to this grounded gratitude meditation to ensure you start the day right.

Start by finding a comfortable seated position,

Either on the floor or in a chair.

Relax your shoulders and let your spine gently straighten,

As if a string is pulling the crown of your head upward.

Gently close your eyes and bring your attention inward.

Take a few deep,

Centering breaths.

As you inhale,

Feel the air flowing into your nose and down into your belly.

Pause briefly at the top of the inhalation.

Then slowly exhale through your mouth,

Letting go of any tension or worries.

Repeat this a few more times.

Allowing your body to settle and your mind to become calm and focused.

Bring to mind all the things,

Both big and small,

That you are truly grateful for in your life.

Perhaps it's the nourishing meal you had yesterday.

The loved one who checked in on you.

Or simply the gift of waking up this morning.

Silently acknowledge each item on your gratitude list,

Feeling the warmth and appreciation spreading through your body.

Now,

Visualize gratitude as a glowing,

Radiant light emanating from your heart center.

This luminous energy is like a beacon,

Attracting an abundance of blessings,

Opportunities and support from the universe.

Breathe deeply into this heart-centered gratitude,

Allowing it to grow brighter and more expansive with each inhalation.

As you continue breathing,

Bring your attention to your physical body.

Sense any areas of heaviness,

Tension or discomfort.

Imagine the light of gratitude pouring into these places,

Infusing them with warmth,

Softness and ease.

Feel your body becoming more relaxed,

Open and receptive.

From this grounded grateful state,

Set an intention for how you want to embody and express your appreciation throughout the day.

Maybe it's lending a helping hand to a neighbor,

Savoring the beauty of nature,

Or simply smiling more freely.

Affirm to yourself,

I am grateful and this gratitude attracts an abundance of blessings to me.

Let's say that one more time.

Throughout the day,

Look out for the abundance of blessings they may show up in multiple forms.

When you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Feeling energized,

Uplifted and ready to meet the day with an attitude of abundance.

Throughout your day,

Remember to pause and reconnect with the glowing light of gratitude within your heart.

This practice can be revisited anytime you need to reorient yourself towards thankfulness and open yourself up to the flow of goodness all around you.

Now go have an abundantly great day,
