There is a posture your body learned,

A way of staying ready,

Of holding itself together.

This bracing happens quietly,

Often without awareness,

But it costs energy.

This practice is an invitation to notice what happens when that posture softens.

Notice where you're bracing,

In the jaw,

In the shoulders,

In the breath.

You don't need to correct it.

You don't need to relax it on purpose.

Just notice that it's there.

When bracing eases even slightly,

The system recalibrates.

Breath deepens on its own.

Attention widens.

Energy returns.

Nothing collapses.

Nothing falls apart.

Stopping the brace doesn't mean becoming unprotected.

It means becoming available.

Available to sensation.

Available to support.

Available to rest.

Some days this will feel relieving.

Subtle and quiet.

Both are signs of regulation.

As you move forward,

Remember this.

You don't need to stay braced.

To stay safe.

And noticing that is enough.

Now.
