The Face Holds Everything. This Practice Lets It Go
by Mahaprana
Most of us carry invisible tension in the jaw, the cheeks, the lips — silent echoes of stress, worry, and unspoken words held in the muscles of the face without us ever realizing it. This practice gently dissolves all of it. There is a stillness inside you that no thought can disturb. This practice is the path back to it. Through slow nasal breathing, the gentle expansion and softening of the cheeks, and a mindful placement of the hands near the nostrils, you create a sacred loop of awareness: breath feeding presence, presence feeding stillness. What this practice offers: — Release of hidden tension stored in the jaw, cheeks, and mouth — A return to the present moment through pure sensory awareness — Softening of the face as a gateway to softening the mind — The cheeks expanding with each inhale — an act of receiving life fully — The exhale releasing what no longer serves — tension, thought, resistance — A quiet inner space that deepens with every breath.
