Welcome.
Let's begin.
Finding yourself in a seated position.
Your arms are supported.
And if your back is supported,
Noticing that.
Otherwise,
Just noticing your spine.
Letting your body-mind system land here,
Now.
And bringing your attention to the activity of your mind.
Simply noticing thinking.
That's all.
Nothing else to do.
Just notice thinking activity of the everyday mind.
Noticing where thinking is happening and dropping your attention into your body.
Beginning to notice the sensations in your body.
Feeling the body from within.
Being curious about sensations,
Whatever they are.
No need to change them.
Simply noticing sensations within the body.
Being with those sensations.
Sensations.
Contraction.
Pressure.
Temperature.
Relaxation.
Movement within the body.
Feeling the body from within.
And now,
Opening your awareness into the space all around you.
Opening awareness to the space around the room that you're in.
Even beyond the room.
As open and as spacious as is comfortable for you.
You might notice some sounds.
Even distant sounds.
In noticing,
Recognize how easily your awareness extends beyond even the most distant sounds.
In fact,
If I were to mention the beeping of a satellite moving around the earth,
You could easily encompass that too.
This awareness is without limit,
Without form,
Without location.
It just is.
Resting into the field of conscious awareness.
Spacious.
Awake.
Enjoying the spacious field of awake awareness.
There may be sounds.
There may be thoughts.
But these are transient events.
They appear and disappear in the infinite field of conscious experience.
They are simply objects that come and go.
Awareness is like the atmosphere.
And sensory impressions and mental impressions are simply objects that come and go.
They are like the weather.
And now,
From this field of awake awareness,
Notice your body while resting in the field.
Also feel embodied.
Noticing that awareness both surrounds and permeates the body.
Awareness is ubiquitous,
Outside and inside.
Resting in this awareness while enjoying embodiment.
And as you continue to rest and experience embodiment,
Picture how you might be able to bring this feeling into the rest of your day,
To your work,
And your play,
And all of your interactions with others.
I wish you peace and happiness.
And I extend my deepest gratitude to you for all the healing work you do.
That no one else can see.
Namaste.
