Today I will lead you in a simple three-minute meditation.
Take a moment to just find a comfortable position,
Whatever that may be for you.
Whether you're sitting on the ground or in a chair,
Let the chair support you or the ground from beneath where you're sitting or laying.
Just begin to relax.
Find a comfortable position.
Begin to focus on your breath.
Our breath is our natural flowing energy.
It's within us and it's always there to help ground us,
Center us,
And bring us back to this moment where there's peace,
Love,
And joy.
For now,
Let's just find that breath.
Slowly let yourself inhale and exhale.
Inhale,
Feeling your chest rise,
And exhale.
It may be helpful to count to yourself.
Breathing in,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
No thoughts may come and go.
Just allow yourself to return back to your breath.
Let those thoughts come.
Accept them.
Maybe even call it out as a third person.
Wow,
That thought brought me a bit of uncertainty or that thought made me feel a little bit of anger.
As we call it out and bring a kind awareness to it,
We can let it pass just as we pass through clouds or as a leaf that slowly moves along a stream.
As you continue breathing,
Imagine a luminescent white light moving throughout your body,
Up to your head,
Your crown chakra,
Illuminating you,
And then release it out,
Allowing yourself to feel that calm energy.
And remember,
Peace begins within.
