Hi,
I'm Lexie Bevington and I am here to tell you a little bit about what I do on Insight Time and the videos that I have available for you.
I work a lot with people with busy minds and we with busy minds tend to think a lot,
Analyse a lot and spend a lot of our times in our brains.
We're often considered to be overthinkers.
And because of that,
We often don't fully relax and our body might tighten.
We tend to stress out.
We hold tension in our system without even realising that we're doing it.
And it shows up in things like maybe we might re-read a message three times before sending an email.
Or perhaps we lie in bed exhausted while the mind continues to go round in circles and stops us sleeping.
Or perhaps you've ever replayed a conversation afterwards wondering what it is that you might have said wrong.
Or maybe you might discover that you sometimes feel snappy with the people that you love,
Even though deep down you really,
Really don't want to.
And if you're anything like my clients,
You'll probably notice that after a while it begins to affect everything.
How we feel,
How we respond.
Our relationships,
Our sleep,
Our health.
Even our ability to really enjoy life.
And so the work I share here is really about helping us to come back to a steadier place within ourselves,
A place that never actually goes away,
But many of us don't know how to access.
And it's not through complicated techniques and it's not through a whole bunch more mental effort.
It's through really simple practices.
That help the body and the mind to settle because when we genuinely feel better inside things begin to improve for us out there.
And it might just start with us beginning to breathe more effectively,
More beneficially.
We might then notice that we're starting to think more clearly.
And we stop reacting and are able to respond more.
And we'll feel more connected to the people around us and life begins to feel easier.
From the inside.
So everything I teach is intentionally simple.
Incredibly practical.
And really easy to use in real life.
Because the truth is that when we're overwhelmed,
Simple is what actually happens.
And honestly.
These simple shifts can have a much more impressive impact.
On our lives than most of us would begin to imagine.
