Hi,

I'm Lexi and welcome to this gentle breathing reset.

It's a moment to pause,

To slow down and to settle and reconnect with your breath.

And you can use it anytime you want at the end of the day,

In the morning,

Or anytime you'd like to feel calm and steady.

So I invite you to start by taking a moment to get comfortable,

Either sitting down or lying down in a way that feels easy and natural.

And then you might want to soften your gaze or perhaps gently close your eyes if that feels right.

Let your shoulders drop and let yourself begin to relax.

Imagine a slow down button in front of you.

Take a moment to really notice it.

For example,

What color might it be?

What size?

And you can change these details whenever you like.

This button,

This slow down button is completely yours.

And I invite you to press it gently in your mind and notice that when you do,

Everything begins to move a little more slowly,

Like the world around you eases into 0.

75 speed.

And now gently bring your attention to your breath in through your nose,

Deeply into your belly so your belly swells and out through your mouth.

No need to measure the breath,

No need to change the pattern,

You're just noticing it.

And there really is no right or wrong way to do this.

So let your belly rise gently as you inhale.

And soften as you exhale.

Each inhale can feel a little fuller than the last.

And then just let the air fall softly out of your mouth.

Velvety,

Silky,

Smooth and easy.

Notice your breath moving like a soft wave flowing in and flowing out.

There's no hurry,

No force,

Just your natural rhythm.

Staying out of your mind,

Staying with your breath.

Nothing to change and nothing to fix.

Just nice,

Even breath.

Effortless and smooth.

And if you like,

You can imagine pressing your slow down button a second time,

Slowing everything down even further.

Your thoughts slowing,

Your body settling,

Your breath flowing gently.

As if the world around you has eased gently into 0.

5 speed.

So I invite you to stay here for a few more breaths,

Gently breathing into your belly and out through your mouth.

Smooth,

Effortless,

Seamless.

And you really can't do this wrong.

However your breath is flowing is perfect.

Nothing to change and nothing to fix.

That's right,

You're doing great.

Keep that breath flowing.

And now I invite you to gently notice how your body is feeling.

Notice how your breath feels.

And let yourself rest in this feeling for a few moments.

Take as long as you like here.

Just breathing,

Just noticing,

No rush,

No more instructions.

Just you and your breath.

And when it feels right,

No rush,

You can gently wiggle your fingers or toes,

Stretch if it feels good.

And softly open your eyes,

Carrying this calm with you into the rest of your day or evening.

But no rush,

In your own time.

And know you can return to this gentle reset whenever you wish.

It is here for you,

Always.
