And as we begin.
Take a moment to create.
A space of peace.
You may wish to sit.
Or maybe lie.
And allow the lighting to be soft.
Take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale.
You say to yourself with the intention.
I open myself up.
To the possibility of healing.
Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Long and sly.
And begin to notice.
The gentle rise and fall of your body.
Each breath is like a wave.
Washing over you.
And allow your shoulders just to soften.
And draw.
Feel the weight of your body relaxing and whisper to yourself.
I am safe.
I am supported.
I am here.
And now in your imagination.
Find yourself a quiet and peaceful garden and in the garden the light is golden.
The ambience is still.
And you can hear the soft hum.
Of evening light.
And in the centre of this garden.
Is a pain.
The bench is beneath an old tree.
And you can sit there now.
And here you are allowed to remember.
Anyone.
Anything.
That has lived in the chambers of your heart.
If there is someone.
That maybe you haven't forgiven.
Or if there is something.
In your cell you have not let go of.
Just allow it to arise gently.
Without judgment.
And just observe.
Like a character in a story.
And maybe you see their face.
You may even hear words that were spoken.
And that's okay,
Just let it be.
And just let be whatever it is.
No judgement.
You are not here to argue.
Or even relive.
You are here to witness and to release.
And now turn inward.
Visualise your heart centre.
Your spiritual heart.
And within your spiritual heart is aflame.
Golden.
This flame is your inner fire.
The place that holds both pain and the power to transmute it.
And now speak inwardly to the flame.
Burn away what no longer serves me.
This memory,
This wound and this story.
Leave me only wisdom and light.
And now breathe into that flame.
Feel it growing lighter,
Warmer.
And even softer.
And now begin to whisper to yourself.
I release.
I let go.
I forgive for my own freedom.
And feel the way in your chest beginning to shift.
You are safe.
In this transformation of letting go.
And now stand.
And walk through the garden.
Maybe down the gentle flow.
To the edge of a wide shimmering river.
And this is the river of forgiveness.
Ancient.
Eternal.
And sacred.
It knows how to carry the pain away.
Without a trace.
Step into the water slowly.
Allow it to surround your feet.
Your leg.
And your body.
Allow the water to wash over you not just physically but spiritually.
Might cleanse any guilt.
And resolve any resentment.
And you are ready.
You can say silently or aloud.
I forgive you.
I release.
I no longer carry this burden.
And allow yourself to flow.
In the water.
Weightless,
Free.
Renewed.
And the river has now done its work.
When you are ready.
You can walk back to the shore.
Feeling lighter.
And peaceful.
As you walk back into the garden.
You feel that positive shift.
A sense of peace where once was pain.
A sense of wholeness where there was once heaviness and you can say to yourself.
I am learning.
I am healing.
And I am growing.
I bless all those that have passed through my life.
And I move forward with grace.
Now breathe that in.
Feel it settle.
Deep inside.
And now gently return to your breath.
Feeling the surface beneath you again.
Forgiveness is not a moment.
It's a par.
And today we take another step forward.
And when you are ready you can open your eyes.
And carry your light.
Quietly.
Kindly.
And peacefully.
Into the world.
And welcome back to you.
And welcome back.
