I come to you guided by my intuition and by the wisdom blessed upon me by my teachers,

And my Reiki master,
Kelly Strolls.
I humbly welcome you to today's meditation.
As we begin,
I want you to check in with your body and get as comfortable as possible,
Wherever you are.
Whether you are sitting,
Standing,
Lying down,
Or even driving in a car,
There is a place for you here.
Let's take a moment to move through the body together.
Starting with your face,
Notice what's there.
Any tension in your jaw,
Your forehead,
Around your eyes,
Just allow whatever needs to adjust to adjust.
Move your awareness down to your neck,
Your shoulders,
Let them drop,
Your arms,
Your hands,
Your chest,
Your back,
Your stomach,
Your hips,
Your legs,
Your feet,
All the way down to your toes.
As you settle in,
Feel the groundness of gravity beneath you,
Not as pressure as support,
The earth holding you exactly where you are.
Now we are going to start by breathing together.
We will take three intentional breaths,
In for four counts,
Hold for seven,
And out for eight.
If you are operating any machinery,
Simply allow your breath to breathe naturally and let the words wash over you.
For everyone else,
Let's begin.
Breathe in,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Out,
Two,
Seven,
Eight.
Breathe in,
Two,
Three,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
One more time,
Breathe in,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Out,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
One deep breath in,
And out.
And if you're not operating any machinery and you feel so inclined,
You are welcome to gently close your eyes.
If you are operating machinery or simply prefer to keep your eyes open,
That is perfectly okay too.
You are still fully here.
One more breath in,
And out.
You are here,
You are held,
You are exactly where you are supposed to be,
Right now.
Take one more slow breath in,
And as you exhale,
I want you to notice something.
You are here,
Right now,
In this moment,
In this body,
In this breath.
Not yesterday,
Not tomorrow,
Not in the thing you're worried about or the thing you're planning or the conversation you're replaying in your head.
Here,
Now.
The present moment is the only moment that has ever actually existed.
Think about that for a second.
The past is a memory,
It exists only as a thought right now.
The future is a projection,
It exists only as a thought right now.
The only thing that is actually,
Undeniably,
Completely real is now.
This breath,
This moment.
And yet,
How much of our lives do we spend somewhere else,
Replaying what happened,
Rehearsing what might happen,
Scrolling,
Rushing,
Planning,
Worrying,
Doing everything except actually being here for the life that is happening right now,
In this moment,
All around us.
This present moment doesn't ask much of you,
It just asks you to show up for it.
So,
Right now,
I want you to just feel where you are.
Feel the weight of your body,
Feel the surface beneath you,
Feel the temperature of the air on your skin.
Notice any sounds around you,
Not to judge them,
Not to wish them away,
Just to acknowledge that they exist right now,
In this moment,
With you.
Now bring your attention to your breath,
Just your breath.
Breathe in slowly,
And feel your lungs expand.
Hold it for just a moment,
And exhale slowly.
Feeling your body soften,
Again,
In,
Your breath is the most powerful anchor to the present moment that you will ever have.
It is always available to you,
Always free,
Always right here.
Anytime you feel yourself pulled away,
Into the past,
Into the future,
Into the noise,
One conscious breath brings you back.
One breath,
That's all it takes.
I want to offer you something to sit with today.
You don't have to be anywhere else right now.
You don't have to fix anything,
Solve anything,
Or figure anything out.
You don't have to be a better version of yourself,
Because the version of you that exists right now,
In this moment,
Is the only version of you that is real.
And that version is enough.
You are enough,
Right now,
As you are,
In this moment.
This present moment is not something you have to earn.
It's not something you have to be good enough for.
It is not waiting for you to have it all figured out before it lets you in.
It is always here.
It is always open.
And you can choose to be here now.
Not perfectly,
Not permanently,
But intentionally.
One breath at a time.
So,
As you sit here,
Let yourself arrive,
Fully,
Completely.
Not later,
Not when things calm down,
Not when you feel more ready,
Now.
