Welcome.
I am so glad you are here.
My name is L-Star R,
Aka Lorraine K.
Rudolph,
And I will be guiding you through today's meditation based on the teachings of Mastery of Magnetism by Matt Schaefer.
Before we begin,
Take a moment to get comfortable.
Adjust your body however it needs to be adjusted.
Sit,
Lie down,
Whatever feels right for you right now.
This is a safe space.
There is nothing you need to do,
Nowhere you need to be,
And nothing you need to figure out.
Just be here.
When you are ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Take one deep breath in through your nose and a slow exhale out through your mouth.
Do that one more time.
In and out.
Good.
You are exactly where you are supposed to be.
Take one more deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
I want you to give yourself permission to feel whatever you are feeling right now.
Not just the good stuff.
All of it.
Because this meditation is for the moments that don't feel pretty.
The moments that feel messy and hard and out of control.
The moments that bring you to your knees.
This one is for the breakdown.
I want you to think for a moment about a recent time when things felt like they were falling apart.
Maybe it was big,
A relationship,
A loss,
A decision that shook your whole world.
Maybe it was smaller than that.
A moment of overwhelm,
A wave of grief,
A day where you just couldn't hold it together.
Don't force it.
Just let whatever comes up,
Come up.
Now I want you to just be in that memory of that moment.
Not to fix it,
Not to analyze it.
Just to acknowledge it.
That happened.
It was real.
And it was hard.
Here's what I want to offer you about that moment.
That wasn't you failing.
That was you transforming.
See,
The world has taught us that breakdowns are signs that something is wrong.
That if we were stronger,
More together,
More healed,
We wouldn't fall apart.
We wouldn't cry.
We wouldn't feel afraid or lost or shattered.
That's not the truth.
The truth is you cannot break through without first breaking down.
Think about it.
A seed has to split open before it can become a flower.
A caterpillar has to completely dissolve inside the chrysalis.
Everything it was gone before it can become a butterfly.
That fire that feels like destruction is the same fire that forges steel.
Your breakdown is not the end of your story.
It is the plot twist that changes everything.
So I want to invite you,
Gently,
With no pressure,
To go back to that moment you recall just a few minutes ago.
And this time,
Instead of seeing it as a failure,
I want you to ask yourself,
What was breaking down in me so that something truer could break through?
What old belief?
What old version of myself?
What story that no longer served me?
Just sit with that question.
Let it be soft.
Let it be curious.
Because here's what I know to be true.
Every breakdown that you have ever survived has brought you closer to who you actually are.
Every time you fell apart,
You put yourself back together a little more honestly,
A little more authentically,
A little more you.
That takes courage.
Real courage.
And the next time,
Because there will always be a next time for all of us,
The next time life brings you to your knees,
I want you to remember this moment.
Remember this breath.
Remember that you have been here before and you have come through it before.
And in that moment,
Instead of fighting the breakdown,
I want you to try something different.
Give yourself grace.
Give yourself space.
Put your hand on your heart if you need to.
Take one breath and whisper to yourself,
Even if you don't fully believe it yet.
There is beauty in this breakdown.
I am not falling apart.
I am becoming.
There is beauty in this breakdown.
I'm not falling apart.
I am becoming.
You are not being destroyed.
You are being refined.
And here is what I want you to carry with you.
When you have the awareness,
When you can recognize that you are in the fire,
Feel all the feels.
Cry all the tears.
Let it be as big and as messy as it needs to be.
And I want you to know this.
You can be in the fire and not let it burn you.
That awareness,
That choice is available to you even in your hardest moment,
Especially in your hardest moment.
And on the other side of that,
On the other side of every hard,
Uncomfortable,
Tear-soaked moment,
There is a version of you that is more whole,
More free,
More sovereign than the one that went in.
And that version of you is worth every breakdown it takes to get there.
Sit with that for just a moment longer.
And as you breathe,
Release it.
Give yourself space.
Give yourself grace.
Because you are beautiful,
Not in spite of your breakdown,
Because of it.
Your ability to fall apart and find your way back,
That is not your weakness.
That is your superpower.
Begin to bring awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
Take a slow,
Easy breath.
Before you open your eyes,
Take just a moment to be grateful.
Grateful that you showed up for yourself today.
Grateful for this time you carved out.
Grateful for who you are becoming.
That is no small thing.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes and carry this with you,
Not just into your day,
But into your being.
Let it live there.
Let it settle.
Let it become part of who you are.
You did the work today.
Now go be it.
