Welcome.
My name is Komal and I will be guiding you through tonight's meditation.
Before we go inward.
Just take a moment and softly look around the room you are in.
Notice the walls,
The light,
The shadows.
Objects that are familiar.
You are here.
Safe.
In this moment.
Nothing else is expected of you.
But to relax.
And whenever you feel ready.
Allow your eyes to close.
Or soften your gaze downward.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
You don't need to fix anything here,
Just notice.
And hate.
And exhale.
Whenever your mind wanders off during this practice.
Just come back to your breath.
And let it be your anchor this evening.
Now slowly bring attention to your body.
Starting at the top of your head.
Allow the scalp to soften.
Forehead and smile.
Your eyes heavy and relaxed.
Jaw unclenched.
Let your entire face become soft.
Shoulders dropping away from effort.
As if they no longer need to hold anything else for today.
Your upper arms,
Elbows,
Forearms.
Palms.
Relaxing and feeling heavier.
Your chest,
Allowing space inside it.
Take a deep breath in and sigh out.
Let the space in your chest expand.
Let go of any tightness or control in your stomach.
Relax your hips.
Your thighs.
Relax your knees.
Bring your attention to your feet.
Them getting heavier and relaxing.
And focus on your entire body.
Feeling heavy.
In a peaceful way.
Feeling comfortable on the bed you're in.
As if your body is finally being allowed to stop performing.
Let's bring our mind to feeling.
Of gratitude.
You can feel the gratitude for the simple fact.
That you have this breath.
Gratitude for your body carrying you throughout the day.
And if it feels natural.
Bring some awareness to the nature.
The air you breathe.
Earth beneath buildings.
The trees continuing to grow even when you are not thinking about them.
There is a rhythm in nature that does not rush.
And you.
Are a part of that same rhythm.
Your inner nature,
Your emotional world.
And your awareness itself.
Is not separate from it.
Everything.
Is part of one living field of experience.
Let that soften something inside you.
Are not so low.
A part of nature.
Now gently bring attention inward again.
That is something important about the way we speak to ourselves.
When the mind repeatedly tells itself that it is limited,
Closed or undeserving.
It tends to stay within those same boundaries.
So when you begin to say to yourself in a calm,
Neutral way that you are open,
That that you allow life to meet you,
The nervous system slowly stops contracting around limitation.
It stops forcing change.
It simply stops blocking possibility.
And from that space.
Life feels a little more spacious.
A little more available.
So very gently,
Let's begin.
These inner statements.
Let them be soft.
No pressure to believe them completely.
Just receive them and allow them to land.
Yourself.
Eye.
Allow myself.
To rest deeply tonight.
I allow myself to release what I cannot control.
I allow myself to be at peace with where I am in my journey.
I allow myself to feel safe and comfortable in my body.
I allow myself to receive support.
From life in simple ways.
I allow myself.
To be open to ease and comfort.
I allow myself.
To let go of old guilt.
I allow myself to be exactly as I am in this moment.
I allow myself.
To love me unconditionally and fully.
Now let everything settle.
No more effort.
No more and no more.
You relax.
You Just breathe.
If thoughts come.
You don't need to follow them.
Just let them pass.
Like distant moment in the sky.
But you remain here.
And steady presence.
And moving.
Feel your entire body now as one field of rest.
No art is working harder than another.
Let your breath be natural.
Nothing to hold,
Nothing to fix,
Just drifting slowly into rest.
And as this meditation comes to an end,
Nothing,
As being completed only soften.
You can continue resting now and sleep will naturally find you when it is ready.
I am Koma and I am grateful to have guided you here.
Good night.
Dreams sweet dreams.
