Lie down.

Let your whole body lengthen.

Take three deep breaths using the full circumference of your lungs.

Inhale fully.

Oxygenate the whole body.

And exhale everything out.

Inhale fully.

Bring the breath into your toes and your fingertips.

And release.

And a third time,

Inhale fully.

Feel the energy swirling throughout your entire body,

Brightening the edges of your being.

And release,

Letting go of all the expired bits,

Everything that's happened before now.

Let your bones be heavy.

Let your muscles soften.

Let your mind grow quiet.

Drop deeply into your body,

Into this generous moment,

And to the truth of how you actually are.

Begin to notice what's here for you.

The whispers,

The sensations,

The subtle movements of energy.

Notice without naming.

Notice without narrating.

Yield to the mat beneath you or the couch or bed.

Yield to gravity's pull,

To the density of your body.

Yield to the earth's embrace and the earth energy,

The earth nature within you.

There is nothing to perform here,

Nothing to fix,

Nothing to override.

Do nothing to change your experience.

Let all of it be exactly as it is.

This is the practice.

Meet yourself where you are.

Match what is present in your body with no cloud of thought in between.

Let your essence rise up without effort,

A gentle co-arising with whatever you're feeling.

There's nothing to fight here.

Match it.

Meet it.

Yield to it gently.

When we match what is true in the body,

Whatever is there,

Sadness,

Grief,

Anger,

Tenderness,

It can finally shift on its own organically,

Intelligently,

Correctly.

This holy moment of matching and allowing is the medicine.

Stay with what is here.

Let the body lead.

Let the field breathe you.

Let the field breathe you.

And when you're ready,

Bring awareness back to your breath,

Soft and sweet,

Back to your body,

The miracle of you,

Back to the room.

But stay attuned to what you've discovered.
