Transcript

As we always start off,

Sit comfortably if you can,

Your feet on the floor,

Your hands gently resting in your lap,

Sitting with a straight spine and breathing normally through your nose.

Just going to take a moment to observe your body,

Scanning from the bottom of your feet,

On up your legs,

Your back,

Your front,

Your torso,

Down your arms,

Your neck and head.

Just quickly turn on cursory looking at how you're feeling in this moment,

No judgment wherever you are at today,

It's where you are and that's okay.

I want to take you through a guided imagery,

I want you to imagine someone you love.

If you are visual,

You can picture them,

If you are more auditory you can hear them,

Think on their name,

Just to focus on someone who you have deep love for and as you think about them,

Feeling that love,

Continuing to breathe normally,

Imagine sending them the love in your heart.

As you take a moment,

As you're holding space for this person whom you deeply love,

Just observe where you feel that love,

You notice it in your chest,

In your breath,

In your feet grounded in the floor,

What makes it easy to love this person?

Sitting with every aspect that you do love about them and who they are,

I want you to imagine that sensation of love rippling outward to near friends and family who you care about,

Feeling love for them,

The love expanding within your body,

Within space,

Sending them deep love.

And just as a pebble hits the surface of water,

There's a rippling out of that energy as you expand your love beyond people with whom you are close to,

People you know as acquaintances.

Maybe you see them in Starbucks on occasion or when you're walking the dog or at church on the shore,

In your office building,

Expanding that love to them,

Letting that love fill you from the tips of your toes to the top of your head,

Holding so much love,

Extending that love beyond people that you do know to those that you don't,

In your community,

In your country,

And globally,

Holding space of love for people on earth,

This love feeling so warm,

So deep,

So natural,

So peaceful,

Fills up your mind,

Your body,

And your soul,

As you imagine your love reaching around the earth.

I want you to take that sensation of love,

The awareness of love,

As it expands globally,

And turn it to face you,

Just for a moment,

Holding space for the love that you have for yourself.

Love for your body,

For your mind,

Your intellect,

Your personality,

Your spirit,

That which cannot be defined.

Love for your mystery,

Your humanness,

And your otherness.

Holding love for you.

You may notice that your mind wanders at different times,

Just make note of it,

Come back to your breath,

And when you're ready,

Jump back in.

Holding love for yourself.

You are worthy of love.

You are worthy of love.

You are worthy of love.

When you're ready,

Come back to your breath.

Holding the space of love for yourself,

And for others.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Look around the room,

Come back to the space where you are.

As you continue to hold love for this day.
