It gently guides you to reconnect with your body, honor whatever thoughts or emotions are present, and meet yourself with compassion, without needing to fix or change anything. You'll be invited to listen inwardly, thank your feelings for what they’re here to teach, and energetically release what’s not yours to carry. Welcome Therapist,

Counselor,

Helper,

And Healers.

You've just held space for someone else,

And now it is time to hold space for yourself.

This brief meditation is here to help you reset after a challenging session that may have stirred something within you.

There is no right or wrong way to feel.

It's just your humanity showing up to be loved and to be seen.

Let's begin by arriving in your body,

Taking a few breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.

With each breath,

Notice where you are.

Your feet on the floor,

Your seat in the chair.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Feeling your body,

Its weight and its presence.

Notice any sensations,

Tightness,

Warmth,

Tingling or restlessness.

This is your body talking.

Let it speak.

There's nothing to fix or change.

Just notice and feel.

Continuing to breathe,

Bringing your awareness to whatever thoughts or emotions are present.

Let them come as they are.

Giving yourself full permission to feel.

Whatever is here,

Without judgment.

Was the session overwhelming,

Confusing,

Frustrating,

Powerful,

Tender?

Notice all the different parts of you that are speaking now.

There may be a part of you that wants to fix or question or that cares so deeply.

There may be parts of you that want to run and hide,

That want to quit,

That want to eat,

To go to sleep.

Just notice what each of these parts have to say about the session.

And if you need to,

You can pause this track just to spend more time with them.

Allowing them to speak to you.

Letting them be heard.

Beautiful job.

Now as you continue to breathe,

Begin to soften into compassion for all of those parts.

Soften into compassion for how you showed up,

How you stayed present.

Even when it's hard or you're not sure what to say or do or it doesn't go the way you hoped.

Can you for a moment find some more love for yourself?

Love that comes from your higher self,

Your higher knowing that you are human.

Your humanity is what makes the work real.

Taking a breath now,

Sinking into that truth.

Inhale compassion.

Exhale the judgment.

Inhaling love.

Exhaling fear.

Now tune into emotions that linger.

If you can name them,

Do so.

Whatever is here,

Thank it.

Each feeling carries wisdom.

Each one came to teach you something.

Taking a breath in,

You don't have to solve anything right now.

You're simply wanting to be with what is and gently shift into presence with oneself.

Grounding into your truth and your knowing.

Picture the energy of the session as something tangible.

Like a mist or a cloak that you've been carrying.

With each breath out,

Imagine it gently releasing from your body.

You can shake it off.

You can brush it off.

You can simply let it fall away.

With each breath,

Finding more and more release.

Now imagine calling your own energy back to you.

The parts of you that got scattered,

Tangled up,

Left behind,

Ignored.

Calling all of your energy back into your body.

Breathing it in.

Continuing to gather your light,

Your love,

Your understanding and your wisdom.

Gathering it back to yourself.

You can say,

I call all parts of myself back to me now.

I am whole.

I am here.

I am presence.

Feel your energy.

Settle into that.

Let it center you.

Taking one last deep breath in.

And a full breath out.

As you release this session,

Taking from it the lessons to be learned,

Gratitude for those teachings,

And centering in on your own beauty as a healing human.

May you move forward with more lightness,

Care and ease.
