This short guided meditation is designed for therapists, healers, and helpers to listen to before beginning their clinical day. You'll be gently guided to connect with your body, mind, heart, and spirit—creating space to ground, center, and attune to yourself before holding space for others. It's a moment to pause, listen inwardly, and activate the presence, compassion, and intuition that make your work so powerful. Give yourself this time to arrive fully, so you can serve from a place of wholeness and clarity. Welcome to today's meditation.

This practice is designed for therapists,

Helpers,

And healers to listen to before their first session of the day or before they begin their healing work.

This is a moment to center yourself,

Ground it to your body,

Open your heart,

And activate the wisdom and skills that you bring into the world.

Beginning with a few breaths,

Just taking notice of the sensation of air coming in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Just doing that again,

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

Allowing yourself the space,

A moment of presence that belongs only to you,

And as you continue to breathe,

Feel your body soften and sink more deeply into the air,

Or the floor,

Or your mat,

Wherever you are.

Notice the contact points between your body and the earth.

Feeling the support beneath you.

Let your breath bring you into deeper presence.

As you think about today,

About the people that you will meet,

Notice any sensations or messages your body may be offering you.

Where's your body drawing your attention?

What does it need from you today so it can support your presence with your clients?

Giving yourself a moment with curiosity to listen and let your body speak,

Let it be heard.

How can you respond to what it's asking of you?

You commit so much to show up for others.

Can you show up for your body?

Taking that in,

Thanking your body for what it shares with you.

Now turning inward towards your energy.

What does your energy feel like in this moment?

Is it heavy or light?

Expansive or still?

Taking a moment to make sure that this energy is solely yours.

You are in your own field,

In your own knowing,

In your own being.

Any energy that may not be yours,

Gently take your hands,

Rub them up and down your arms,

Kind of sloughing off the energy that doesn't belong to you,

Sending it back to where it came,

And calling all of your own energy back to yourself.

Feel it in your body.

Feel it in your heart.

This energy is yours.

Your knowing is yours.

See if you can offer yourself a bit more tenderness,

Love and attention with your energy.

What does your energy need from you?

Does it need your loving protection?

Does it need your presence?

You can always come back to check in on this energy field throughout your day,

Before and after every session that you may have,

Bringing your energy to yourself and releasing that which is not yours.

Take a moment and just listen.

Feel what it's like to be you.

Giving gratitude for the energy you have.

Now you can shift your awareness to your mind.

Notice any thoughts or worries or ideas about the day ahead.

Your mind does so much work to help you plan and prepare and hold space.

Asking your mind,

What do you need from me today?

So you can stay clear,

Calm,

Open and focused.

Take a moment and listen.

Breathing that in.

And if there's anything that needs soothing or reassurance or boundaries,

Let it know you are trustworthy.

You are listening.

Thanking your mind for all it does.

Now breathe into your heart,

The center of your compassion,

Your connection,

Your feeling self.

How is your heart today?

What emotions are present?

What is your heart carrying?

Let any emotions rise,

Let them move through,

Let them be seen.

Any parts that have been waiting to be felt,

You don't need to figure them out or fix them.

Just be with them,

Allow for them.

You deserve the same presence you offer to others.

Giving your heart that presence,

Asking it,

What do you need from me today?

So that you can show up with love and compassion.

Myself and for others.

What does your heart need?

Breathing that in.

Finally,

Bringing your attention to your spirit.

Part of you that calls you into this work,

That brought you here to this moment.

Part of you that creates and visions.

Notice how it feels to connect to this part of yourself.

Asking your spirit,

What do you need from me today?

So you can move freely and bring your wisdom,

Creativity and magic into each session.

What does your spirit have to say?

Breathing that in.

Let your body,

Your heart,

Your mind,

Your spirit come into gentle alignment,

Settling in together.

Each part working in harmony,

Making you,

You.

You are enough.

You do not have to perform or please,

Overgive,

Overtax.

Your presence in mind,

Heart,

Body and spirit is enough.

You are whole.

With another breath,

May the attunement you've offered yourself ripple outward.

May the care you've given yourself guide the care you give to others.

Taking one final deep breath in and out.

Let's begin the day.

This is a carefully centering practice to help get the work day off with focus and intention. I found it supportive for switching gears when working from home.
