Welcome.
I'm glad you're here.
You didn't choose to start this morning tired.
It just happened that way.
The way it sometimes does.
This practice isn't going to undo that.
Instead,
It's going to offer a few minutes of steadiness to begin the day from,
Exactly as it actually is.
So stay wherever you find yourself right now.
Let your body be fully supported.
With nothing to hold up.
Take a moment,
Simply to arrive in this tired morning.
Without needing it to be different.
And then bring your attention to your breath.
Notice it without trying to change it yet.
Stay with this for a little while.
At whatever pace feels natural.
When you're ready,
Let your exhale begin to last a little longer than usual.
Gently.
And without forcing.
Let your shoulders soften.
And your jaw release a little more.
With each breath out.
Continue at your own pace for a few more rounds.
Let your exhale fade all the way to its own end,
And let the next inhale arrive in its own time,
Rather than reaching for it.
Let your body settle.
A little further with each round.
Stay with this rhythm.
For as long as feels right this morning.
When you feel ready,
Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.
You're allowed to start today,
Tired.
That isn't a failure of anything.
You've given yourself a few minutes of steadiness.
And that's a real beginning,
Even on a morning you didn't choose.
When you're ready.
Deepen your next inhale gently.
Let your eyes open in your own time.
If this was helpful,
I have more breathwork for tired mornings and courses for low-energy days on my profile.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
