I will give you some time to get into a comfortable position.
For this meditation,
You can choose to sit or lie down.
Whichever form you choose,
Please ensure your spine is straight and your body relaxed.
Let your hands rest softly and your breathing relax.
We are going to start with three cleansing breaths to center ourselves into the room.
Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhale through the mouth.
With each breath,
Let go of the day behind you.
Inhale deeply through the nose.
Exhale gently through your mouth.
Final deep breath,
Inhale through the nose and exhale gently through the mouth.
Gently bringing your breath back to a regular relaxed pattern.
And arriving fully into this quiet space,
This healing moment.
You're going to start by imagining a path before you.
Soft beneath your feet,
Bordered by lush emerald greenery.
Dappled in sunlight and scented in fragrant flowers.
And they're swinging gently in the breeze.
This is your inner garden,
Your sacred space.
This place is created by your soul.
It is your place of peace,
Healing and renewal.
As you begin to walk along this garden path,
You notice how each step grounds you further,
Comforts you further,
Inviting you inwards.
In the background,
You can hear songbirds gently echo in the distance.
You can see light sparkle through the leaves from the sun.
You take a breath in and feel the pure nourishing air provided by the glorious nature around you.
With each step,
Silently whisper,
I release what no longer serves me.
I walk forward with peace.
Allow the mantra to move with your breath.
Let the earth beneath your feet hold you.
Let it take all the weight.
Further along the path,
You see a small stone bench beside a stream.
You pause and sit,
Looking into the water's surface.
As you look,
You see your reflection,
Not just your face,
But your energy,
Your past,
Your stories.
Without judgment,
Allow anything you're ready to release to rise gently to the surface.
All doubts,
Fears,
Harsh self-criticism.
Feel the water beside you.
Gently draw them away,
Washing them downstream and cleansing your energy.
As you release,
Repeat silently to yourself,
I let go of pain.
I let go of fear.
I am safe to be free.
Take a moment to sit in this stillness and take a few gentle breaths,
Feeling some burden lifted and the lightness returning to you.
As you continue through the garden path,
You discover a beautiful archway woven from vines and flowers.
You step through and enter a sacred inner sanctuary.
This space may appear to you as a temple,
A circle of light,
A divine space.
Without any judgment,
Allow it to appear however your soul needs it to be.
Here,
Here,
You can only feel love and you can only feel wholeness.
You feel held,
Welcomed,
And remembered.
As you rest here,
Gently place your hand over your heart.
Feeling the quiet rhythm of your heart and the warmth beneath your palm,
Say silently to yourself,
I am loved.
I am worthy.
I am enough.
Let the words be soft and true.
Let them echo in the sacred space around you.
Let them echo within you.
Staying here as long as you need.
For the last few moments of this meditation,
Gently walk back along the garden path.
Notice that you are carrying something with you,
A deep inner knowing,
A radiant self-awareness.
Love that cannot be shaken.
Reaffirm silently to yourself,
I carry love in all that I do.
I walk gently with myself.
When you are ready,
Bring your awareness back to your breath,
To your body,
And to the room around you.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Taking one more deep breath.
And as you open your eyes,
Carry this sanctuary within you.
And whenever you are feeling low on love,
Confidence,
Or strength,
Know that you can always return here.
