Hi and welcome to this Yoga Nidra meditation for generators titled The Art of Replenishing.
This practice is an offering to your body,
Your energy,
And your sacred life force.
As a generator,
You're someone who lights up when you're creating,
Responding,
Generating,
Moving through the world with a full and giving heart.
This is your invitation to come home to yourself for a little while.
You don't need to shut that beautiful energy force down.
You're simply going to let it rest in your hands for a moment rather than pouring it outwards.
Allowing my voice.
To hold your hand through this practice.
Let's begin by just finding a position where your body can feel completely healthy.
Just laying down.
Let the earth beneath you do what it always has known to do.
Support you fully without condition.
Adjusting the volume so it feels soothing to you.
Grabbing any props like blankets or pillows.
You may choose to lay down flat on your back.
On your side or flat on your tummy.
Whatever is most soothing to you.
Take all the time you need to feel completely comfortable.
There's nothing calling for you right now.
Nothing to respond to,
Nothing to create,
Nothing to give.
Just this still moment.
Just you.
Just rest.
You may softly close the eyes if that feels right for you.
Or you may leave them slightly open.
Take a breath in slow and full.
And a longer,
Softer breath out.
And as you exhale,
Let your whole body receive this message.
Your energy is sacred and right now it is being restored.
Before we begin,
We'll take just a few breaths together to help your body shift gears.
Generators carry a lot of energy and right now we're going to let some of it move down and out.
Back into the earth where it can be transmuted,
Composted,
And renewed.
Place one hand on your belly if that feels natural.
And maybe another on your heart.
Take a full breath in through the nose,
Filling the belly first.
Then chest,
All the way up to the ground of the head.
Hold for a moment.
And exhale slower with control.
Slower than you inhaled,
Slow through the nose with patience.
A slow,
Long exhale.
Again,
Inhale,
Filling from the bottom all the way up.
Hold,
Exhaling through the nose.
Imagine sending that energy downward through the body,
Through the floor,
Into the earth beneath you.
One more deep breath in through the nose.
Filling to the crown of the head,
Hold.
And this time on the exhale,
Let it go from the mouth with a sigh.
Releasing whatever you've been carrying today.
Letting the earth take it.
Good.
Now let the breath return to normal.
Just an effortless breath.
Sensing the weight of your body heavier now.
More settled.
The Earth supporting you.
Bringing awareness.
To the softening of the jaw and the hinges of the jaw.
Allowing it to soften.
Sometimes the jaw is holding effort without noticing.
Allowing the shoulders to soften and melt.
The chest release,
Belly softens.
You don't need to keep anything running.
The energy doesn't disappear when you rest.
Softening legs and the feet,
Toes.
The energy restoring in your body.
In Yoga Nidra meditations,
We always work with sankalpas.
Sankalpa is a quiet truth that your soul is ready to remember If you have one that you're already working with,
Please feel free to use it.
And if not,
I'll offer one for this practice.
You may repeat it silently to yourself three times or simply allow it to be received.
I allow myself to receive and embrace the renewing energy of eternal love and source.
Let this land gently without effort.
Repeat 3 times.
I allow myself to receive and embrace the renewing energy of eternal love and source.
Now moving into a rotation of consciousness.
Just allowing your awareness to land on the body part that I call.
You may imagine or sense a soft energetic light.
Full,
Soft,
Relaxing energy.
Moving to each different body part,
Landing and lifting gently.
Leaving behind a sensation of pure effortless rest.
And full restored energy.
Imagine that energetic,
Brilliant,
Light.
Is landing.

Renewing.
The whole body resting as one field of sensation.
Notice your effortless breath.
The natural,
Soft moving in and out of the breath.
Regenerator's breath is not something to work with.
Something to allow.
With each effortless breath.
Just allowing.
The natural rise and fall of the breath.
Like a slow phrase in now.
Swaying the current in and out.
Gentle,
Soft and effortless,
Just noticing.
Imagining your energy moving in a slow circular rhythm.
The way a forest recycles itself.
Darkened leaf falls,
Doesn't disappear,
It lands and softens into the earth.
Breaks down into something rich and dark,
Nourishing.
Seeps into the earth becomes one the earth and the dirt Transmute.
Restores.
And rises again through the roots of the very tree it fell from.
Nothing is wasted in nature.
Nothing is ever lost.
Energies never wasted.
Energy that was never lost.
Energy given,
Exerted today.
Effort,
Creation,
Response.
It's composting.
Becoming something richer.
Your rest in this moment is the forest floor.
Quiet dark where renewal happens invisibly.
Naturally.
Slowly.
Quietly.
Unseen and unheard without any effort.
Outward.
And back in.
Giving and receiving.
Replenishing.
Nothing ever wasted.
Your energy recycling itself.
Sacred and productive.
An unbroken cycle in the stillness.
This restored state.
This effortless sense.
Of unshakable well-being.
In this sacred ashraya.
In this sacred inner sanctuary.
That lives within you and has always lived within you.
Dropping all visualizations releasing all guidance No response.
No doing.
Just resting in your natural state.
Trust me.
Just being.
In the medicine of rest.
Now repeating your sankalpa again.
This divine state of stillness.
In this divine rest.
I allow myself to receive.
And embrace the renewing energy.
Of eternal love and source.
Planting that seed deep within the soil of your subconscious.
Notice the space that you're lying in sensing the edges of your body.
The heaviness of your body.
Sensing gravity pulling onto the surface beneath you.
Notice the earth supporting you Notice your breath.
You may choose to take a rejuvenating breath in.
Releasing it all.
Smelling the Earth around you.
Making small,
Gentle movements with the fingers,
Toes.
Perhaps taking a morning stretch.
Or laying on your side in fetal position.
You don't lose momentum when you rest.
You restore your life force energy.
Carry the snowing with you.
And remember,
You are divine.
You are whole and safe.
And you are free at rest.
Rest is your medicine.
Thank yourself for taking this time to rejuvenate and restore your energy.
And thank you for allowing me to guide you today.
Be well,
And Namaste.
