Welcome.
This meditation is about awakening energy through warmth and flow.
Thank you for being here.
First,
I would like to invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down,
Whatever you prefer.
And in case you're not feeling comfortable anymore in the position you've chosen,
Please allow yourself to make a judgment or take a completely other position.
Meditation should be something we look out for and is certainly not the art of enduring pain.
Let your spine be tall,
But not tense,
As if there are little air cushions between each vertebra.
Allow your hands to rest naturally.
Close your eyes softly,
If that feels okay for you.
And then start to take a slow breath in through your nose,
And release it gently through your mouth.
Again inhale through the nose,
And exhale through the mouth.
Then let your breathing return to a natural rhythm.
You don't need to change anything.
Just notice.
Bring your awareness to the base of your body,
Where you touch the chair,
The floor,
Or the bed.
Feel the contact,
The weight,
The steadiness.
Imagine the earth beneath you not as something mystical,
But as something solid and warm,
Like the sun-warmed ground beneath bare feet.
With each breath,
Feel the subtle warmth beginning at the soles of your feet,
Or at the base of your spine.
Not a light,
Just warmth,
Gentle,
Natural,
Steady.
Now imagine that warmth beginning to rise slowly through your body,
Not rushing,
Like warm water filling a vessel.
It moves into your calves,
Your knees,
Your thighs.
If you can't see it,
Simply sense it.
Maybe it feels like soft tingling,
Heaviness,
Expansion,
Relaxation.
There is no right way.
The body knows how to awaken itself.
Let the warmth reach your hips and lower belly.
Breathe in deeply here.
This is your center of vitality,
Your instinct,
Your grounded power.
Whisper inwardly,
I allow energy to move.
Now feel the warmth rise into your abdomen,
Your ribs,
Your chest.
As it reaches your heart space,
It softens.
Not dramatic,
Just open.
Imagine your chest like a doorway,
Gently opening to fresh air.
The warmth spreads across your shoulders,
Down your arms.
Into your hands.
Notice if your palms feel heavier or warmer.
Energy doesn't need to glow to be alive.
It can simply be felt.
Now let it rise into your throat,
Loosening,
Clearing space,
Up into your face,
Your temples,
Your forehead.
And finally,
The crown of your head.
Your whole body is now quietly warmed from within.
Now shift from warmth to flow.
Imagine your breath and this inner warmth moving together.
On an inhale,
Energy rises slightly.
On an exhale,
It settles and spreads,
Like a tide.
In,
Rise.
Out,
Soften.
In,
Expand.
Out,
Contract.
There is no pushing,
No forcing.
Flow is not intensity.
Flow is allowance.
Stay here for several breaths.
Now sense the edges of your body.
Not visually,
But energetically.
Feel the subtle space beyond your skin,
As if your warmth gently radiates a few inches outward.
You are not containing energy.
You are participating in it.
The air around you feels slightly alive.
The room feels responsive.
You are part of the same current that moves wind,
Tides,
Breath and seasons.
And you don't have to try.
Just be.
Bring your awareness back to your lower belly.
Feel the steady warmth there.
It is calmer now,
Balanced,
Awake.
Place one hand over your belly or heart,
If that feels natural.
And say inwardly,
My energy moves in its own way.
I trust my rhythm.
I awaken gently.
And then take a slow,
Full breath in.
And a long,
Steady exhale out.
Begin to notice the surface beneath you.
The room around you.
The sounds.
The smells.
Gently begin to move your fingers and toes.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes slowly.
The warmth stays.
The flow stays.
You simply remembered it.
Namaste.
Namaste.
