Welcome to this meditation for self-love.
Find a comfortable position,
Seated,
Lying down,
Or anywhere your body feels supported.
Allow your eyes to gently close and let your breath fall into a natural rhythm.
There's nothing to fix,
Nothing to improve,
Nothing to achieve in this moment,
Just the simple act of being here.
Begin by noticing the surface beneath your body,
How it holds you,
Without question or condition.
Feel the weight of your body release into support as if saying,
I can rest now.
Let your shoulder soften,
Your jaw loosen,
Your belly expand.
With your next slow inhale,
Imagine drawing in a soft,
Warm light.
A light that is not overwhelming,
But calm,
Steady and kind.
It gathers in your heart space,
Settling there like a gentle ember.
On the exhale,
Imagine this warmth spreading outward,
Dissolving layers of tension or self-judgment.
Not because those feelings are wrong,
But because you don't need to hold them any longer.
Now bring your awareness to your heart,
Not the physical heartbeat,
But the emotional center of you.
The place that stores your joys,
Your hurts,
Your hopes,
Your memories.
Notice how it feels today.
You don't have to change anything,
Just witness yourself with tenderness.
Silently repeat,
I am allowed to take up space.
Let the phrase drift through you,
Like a comforting breeze.
If doubts,
Resistance or discomfort arise,
Welcome them as visitors.
Every part of you is simply asking for care.
Imagine now a version of yourself standing before you.
Not a perfect version,
Not an idealized one,
But you,
Just as you are right now.
This version of you is soft-eyed and open-hearted.
Notice the posture,
The expression,
The energy they carry.
And as you breathe,
Imagine offering them kindness,
Maybe a smile,
Maybe an embrace,
Maybe simply your presence.
Say to this inner self,
You have survived so much.
You're worthy of compassion.
I'm learning to care for you.
Allow these words to echo gently in the quiet space within you.
Now imagine your heart glowing a little brighter,
Illuminating the forgotten corners inside,
Places where old stories once lived.
Stories like,
Not enough,
Too much,
Unworthy,
Unlovable.
Watch as the warm light softens those old narratives.
They don't need to disappear right now.
They just need to loosen their grip.
With every breath,
Feel this inner light growing stronger,
Spreading through your throat,
Freeing your voice,
Through your gut,
Steadying your intuition,
Through your arms,
Reminding you that you can give and receive,
Through your legs,
Grounding you into your life.
Whisper inwardly,
I'm not defined by my past,
I'm growing.
I deserve my own love.
Let this truth settle into your bones,
Like sunlight sinking into the earth.
Take three slow breaths now.
On the inhale,
Gentleness.
On the exhale,
Release.
When you're ready,
Place a hand over your heart,
Or simply imagine doing so.
Feel the warmth of your own presence.
Silently,
With reverence,
Say,
May I be patient with myself.
May I trust my unfolding.
I am enough.
Now take your time returning to the room.
And when you open your eyes,
Do so as if greeting a dear friend.
Namaste.
