Many of us carry an abandonment wound without realizing how often we continue that pattern by leaving ourselves. In this video, I share how years of suffering, meditation, energy healing, and repeated practice taught me to stay with myself in a different way — not by forcing healing, but by gradually building the capacity to remain present with my body, my feelings, and the emotions that had once been too difficult to feel. I explore how repeated self-abandonment can become a survival pattern, and how the repeated experience of returning to ourselves can begin to create something new. Staying does not mean pushing yourself into overwhelm. It means learning to notice, allow, and accept what is arising, while knowing when enough is enough for today. Healing isn’t measured by how much pain you can endure. It’s measured by how safely you can stay present with what you’re feeling.
