Hello,
Beautiful soul.
This is Joanna Szymanski,
And I am honored that you are joining me here today.
Today we'll be doing what's called box breathing or square breathing.
And if we can get at least 10 rounds of intentional breath in.
This will trigger our vagus nerve to help us to relax.
Triggering the brain and the body to relax.
I will also be using a chime today.
To start our breath and again at the end of this session.
And see if you can first bring your breath.
Into your awareness.
Noticing the temperature of the air.
As you inhale and as you exhale.
Not needing to change anything.
Just observing the breath as it is.
Very good.
And now we're going to begin our box breathing,
Where we breathe in for four seconds,
Hold our inhale for four seconds,
Exhale for four seconds,
And then holding that exhale out for four seconds.
You can do this with your eyes closed.
Or a gentle gaze in front of you.
All right,
Here we go.
On your next inhale,
Breathing in 2,
3,
4.
Hold 2,
3,

Exhale 2,
