Welcome to this powerful visualization meditation for finding your ideal future self.
In this session we're going to explore the feelings of bringing something tangible into your life through attraction,
Belief and action.
Find a comfortable position and take a moment here to find your centre.
You may be lying down or sitting upright in a chair or cross legging,
Whatever's comfortable for you.
Inhale become aware of your breath and exhale to feel the body soften and relax.
It's time for you to be defined by the vision of your future and move your body and mind to a new state of being.
Focus your attention on your breath and notice here how your body easily expands and contracts with the air.
Focus on the feeling of the breath coming in and out of your nose,
The coolness as you inhale,
The warmth as you exhale.
Focus intently on your breathing here for a few more breaths.
Breathing in for a count of four and out for a count of six.
Letting the body become more relaxed and the mind starting to slow down.
Throughout this meditation if your mind wanders be kind to yourself and gently bring the awareness back to the breath with no judgement.
And on your next inhale shift your focus from your breath and direct all of your attention to your head and to your face.
Observe all the sensations occurring here and as you exhale you might feel the softening of any tension you may be holding perhaps in your face,
In your jaw.
Feeling to let all of that tension go.
Continue to breathe and shift the focus to your neck and shoulders knowing this is an area where we often have tension.
Be with the sensations here,
It might be tightness or holding,
You might notice your shoulders moving along with the breath but with every exhale visualise that tension rolling away from your shoulders.
Letting your upper body now starting to soften and relax.
Let go of anything here now that isn't serving you.
Let go of any thoughts or beliefs that are holding you back from the infinite possibilities available to you in this present moment.
Letting your mind be completely open to receive.
Now bring your awareness to your minds eye visualising a door in front of you.
Imagine walking through this door into a large open room.
In this room is a chair and a large screen in front of you.
On the screen a movie begins to play and you realise the person on the screen is you two years from now.
Just taking a moment here to see what's around you in this room,
See what's on the screen and noticing how you feel.
You slowly get up out of your seat and notice another door within the screen.
You open the door on the screen and step inside into your ideal future.
Once you're inside this movie look around and give yourself a moment to notice what's around you.
Everything is so clear and so very real.
Where are you?
What are you wearing?
What does it smell like?
What are the expressions on your future face?
And just taking a short moment here to take it all in.
What is the future like for you?
Notice now how you feel in this space.
Are you happy,
Excited,
Relaxed,
Creative,
Content,
Joyful?
Whatever that emotion is feel it deeply throughout your whole body.
Stay with this feeling and notice any changes in your body,
In your current state.
Embody this feeling.
Take a moment to ask the future you any questions about your life,
Anything you like at all.
Maybe where are you living?
What is a day in your life like?
What did you do to get here?
What action do I need to take to get here?
Ask any question you like and let your future self answer with complete open mind and no judgment.
In only two years time your life is transformed into something more beautiful and more fulfilling than you ever could have imagined.
Enjoy this time here and allow your body to feel what it feels like in your future.
Feel the sensations in your body from your fingers to your toes.
Notice any changes to your current energy.
When you're ready to say goodbye to your future self step through the same doors which you came to on the way and bring your awareness now back to your body.
Imagine here that everything starts in the mind,
Everything that is once started with just a thought.
Imagine now saving this movie into your subconscious mind.
From there knowing your mind will be able to guide you and remind you of the action you need to take.
Place your hand over your heart's face and cultivate feelings of gratitude for showing up for yourself today.
And as you take your next inhale send compassion to yourself and give thanks for your future life.
And as you come to the end of this practice take a full deep breath taking in all the energy of this practice.
Exhale fully and when you're ready bring your awareness back into the room.
As you become fully alert and awake set your intention for the day and know that this practice of visualization has brought you clarity of mind.
Open your eyes and return your attention to the present moment.
