Welcome to our meditation.
I'm so grateful you've decided to join me.
We're going to practice a beautiful meditation today that I'm calling a stargazing visualization meditation.
When you're ready to begin,
Find your most comfortable,
Quiet place to meditate,
Snuggle yourself on in,
And then gently close your eyes.
We're going to delve right into this.
I invite you to imagine you're in a beautiful place outside.
It is night.
The air is just right.
You're either by yourself or maybe you're with a loved one.
The sky is clear.
You can see the moon and every star.
Picture yourself looking up and enjoying the night sky,
Stargazing.
If you have a situation you're pondering or decision about something that needs to be made,
Perhaps bring that to mind as you gaze up at the stars.
The night sky sometimes can help people gain perspective on things they have on their mind.
If there's nothing on your mind this evening,
Maybe you gaze up and think about all the things you're grateful for.
I'm going to give you a moment of silence to reflect.
Stargazing can bring about a great sense of peace.
Feel into that as you see the sky.
Tap into the peacefulness of the sky,
The light,
The beauty.
See how tiny the stars may appear,
How far away yet how close they are.
See the moon.
What phase is the moon currently in?
Note that and see the moon in relation to the stars.
If you know any constellations,
Do you see any of those above?
Surrender to the ebb and flow of life as you stargaze.
How is your mind feeling?
Is it calm?
Is it chattery?
Notice it without judgment.
We are all affected by the moon cycles whether we notice it and follow it or not.
Working in harmony with the moon and nature can be soothing and supportive.
Once again,
Bring yourself back to noticing your mind.
What's going on in there?
When we have too many thoughts,
We can become more confused about things.
And when we stargaze,
Even if just in this visualization meditation,
It can really help you to focus the mind and stay present.
Because all you're really focusing on right now is what you're seeing in the sky.
Tap into your power of visualization here.
Just see the sky.
Just see the moon,
The stars,
All that is above.
Focus,
Notice,
Stay present with what you see.
Take this time to really absorb the energy of the moon and the stars.
And I'll provide you with a little silence so you can really focus and notice this.
Now in that time of silence,
Were you able to stay present or did your mind wander?
Either way,
Notice how you're feeling mentally and physically.
Just breathe and keep stargazing.
Continue to strive for the staying present.
Continue to bask in the energy of the moon and the stars,
Holding the intention of whatever clarity or support you may be needing right now.
And now let's tune into our heart.
Do you have any other intentions or wishes or desires that you're looking toward as you stargaze?
If so,
Voice it in your head as you continually stay present with the sky above you.
And if any answers or insights come to you,
Hold them.
You might want to write them down after our meditation.
You have supreme inner wisdom.
And sometimes we just have to quiet the mind through things like meditation in order to tap into it.
So hold your intention.
Again,
Those deep within your heart,
Hold those intentions with gratitude.
When we look inside our hearts,
We will always find the answers.
Never doubt your ability.
Never doubt your inner knowing.
Your heart holds the truth and it can show you the way.
Even if the way is just the tiniest next step.
In the mind,
It will always chatter a million questions.
That's why we practice mindfulness and meditation and things like the stargazing meditation.
Those things can support you in finding the love that has always been there.
Keep seeing that beautiful sky.
And as you stargaze,
Let's take a deep breath together,
Filling up completely with oxygen.
And now exhale through the mouth.
Let go,
Release,
Feel free.
And once more,
I'm going to give you a moment of silence again.
And I invite you to thank your sky for its beauty.
Feel gratitude to the moon.
Feel gratitude for the sky.
Feel gratitude to the stars,
The purity of your wisdom within.
And be grateful for the time you took to meditate.
I'll give you this moment of silence to feel into your gratitude for all.
And to close,
Let's take three more of those breaths together.
We'll inhale deeply through the nose,
Filling up completely with oxygen.
And now we'll exhale through the mouth,
Letting go,
Releasing,
Feeling free,
Free,
Free.
Exhale through the mouth.
And once more,
A deep breath,
Filling up completely.
And now we will exhale through the mouth,
Letting go,
Releasing.
We are free.
When you're ready to return from our meditation,
Bring yourself back into the room you're in.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Hear the sounds in your room.
Feel the air on your skin.
And very slowly open your eyes when you feel ready.
There's no rush.
You might even just let my voice keep going and you remain in your meditation a little longer.
It's up to you.
It's your time.
I thank you so much for joining me for this stargazing visualization meditation.
Thank you.
