Welcome to this meditation for connecting to inner wisdom.
Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
With your body,
Balanced,
Symmetrical.
Your hands resting comfortably,
Your back relatively straight,
Yet relaxed.
Take note of where you are,
Notice your surroundings.
Notice the space that you are in,
Your position in that space.
And then when you're ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Tune into your sense of hearing.
Notice the sounds that you can hear,
The sounds close to you and the sounds in the distance.
Notice also the space,
The silence between and behind sounds.
Notice that just like the objects around you only exist within the space,
The sounds that you can hear exist within the silence.
And when you're ready,
Turn your attention to your sense of touch.
Feel the touch of your clothing on your skin.
The touch of the air on your skin.
Pressure of your body as it rests on the chair or the surface below you.
Feel into your feet.
Feel the touch of your socks and shoes or the air on your feet or the surface below your feet.
Feel the sense of pressure and temperature.
Feel the aliveness within your feet.
And as you feel the aliveness within your feet,
Also feel the flow of your breath.
Let the aliveness in your whole legs come to your attention.
The aliveness in your torso.
And as you continue to feel the flow of your breath,
Feel the aliveness in your arms and hands.
Your shoulders.
Your neck and head.
Feel your whole body.
Alive.
The subtle tingling sensation.
Subtle.
Pulsing sensation.
And feel the flow of your breath.
Feel the sensation of air passing across your nostrils.
The movement of your chest and belly.
Just noticing how it feels to breathe air in and out of your alive,
Tingling body.
This field of sensation.
And notice your presence.
You who are aware.
Of the sensations.
And the breathing within your body.
Notice that you,
The awareness of this moment,
Are greater than.
The experience of your body.
Your body exists within your awareness.
Your space-like presence of awareness taking this whole moment in.
Aware of the sounds,
Space,
Your body.
Also aware of thoughts that come and go.
Emotions and feelings that may be present.
And just allowing everything to be as it is.
You,
Awareness,
Are not affected by anything you experience.
You awareness of pure knowing.
Aware presence.
Without trying to be.
Without effort.
Allowing for everything.
To be just as it is.
No need to change anything,
No need to get rid of anything.
No need to attach to anything.
Just a simple resting back into yourself.
Arresting back into the center of your being.
And imagine that your inner wisdom resides in this place.
In this inner sense of yourself.
This deep,
Quiet place.
You may bring any question or issue that you would like to know more about.
You can ask your inner wisdom.
Any questions such as What do I need to know now?
What is this situation trying to show me?
Am I on the right path?
Or whatever wisdom you seek.
Ask your question.
And listen quietly for any message from your intuition.
Remain open,
Receptive.
And in touch with your inner sense of self.
Not looking for an answer.
Not getting lost in thought.
But staying connected to this aware presence that you are.
At your centre.
At your core.
And when you're ready,
Just returning to your breathing.
To an awareness of the aliveness within you.
Feeling the subtle pins and needles sensation of the energy within your cells,
Within your body.
Feeling the flow of your breath.
And being grateful for any wisdom that you receive.
Now.
Or that you will receive in the future.
In response to your questions.
You may like to write down any insight that you receive.
And remember that.
This is available to you at all times.
Tuning in to this deep,
Peaceful,
Loving space within you.
And asking any question.
You wish to receive.
Wisdom.
Guidance on.
The more you take action.
On any insight or intuition you receive.
The clearer and more connected you will feel.
To your inner wisdom.
So when you're ready.
Gradually returning your awareness to the room,
The space that you are in.
Being aware of your body resting on the surface below you.
Aware of the sounds you can hear.
Around you and in the distance.
And in your own time whenever you are ready.
Slowly open your eyes.
Gently stretch your body fully.
And take your time before becoming fully alert again.
