Welcome to this guided meditation.
Please find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed,
Turning off or silence any distractions and find a comfortable position either seated or laying down and softly close down your eyes.
We will begin by relaxing the mind and the body.
So wherever you are in your breath,
Taking a complete full exhale now and taking a long,
Slow,
Deep inhale as your body expands and a complete full exhale,
Releasing all of the air out of your body.
Taking another long,
Slow,
Deep inhale as your stomach expands your chest and shoulders rise and a complete full exhale,
Allowing any stress and tension to drift away.
Taking one more long,
Slow,
Deep inhale and exhale here in your own time and return your breath back to its natural rhythm as you breathe in and out naturally.
Taking your attention to the top of your head now,
As you relax the top of your head,
Relaxing into your forehead,
Your eyebrows become heavy,
Softening the muscles around your eyes,
Softening your face,
Unclenching your jaw and allowing your tongue to rest away from the roof of your mouth.
Continuing that relaxation down into your neck and your shoulders,
Your upper arms,
Your lower arms,
Your hands and your fingers,
Relaxing into your upper back,
Your middle back and lower back,
Softening into your stomach,
Allowing it to rest naturally and heavy as you breathe in and out naturally.
Continuing that relaxation down into your hips,
Your upper legs,
Your lower legs,
Your feet and your toes as you are now completely relaxed.
I invite you to take one hand to your heart and one hand to your stomach,
As you breathe in and out of your body naturally,
Following your breath as it enters your body and down into your heart space in the centre of your chest and breathing back out of your heart space.
Breathing in,
Following your breath into your heart and breathing back out of your heart,
Continuing to breathe naturally.
We have just entered a new year,
A time for renewal,
A time for rebirth and it is also a time to pause and to reflect.
To acknowledge and to celebrate ourselves and our achievements and an opportunity to release and let go of what we wish to leave behind us.
I invite you now to bring to your heart and to your mind three things that you achieved in this past year.
This can be anything,
From achieving goals,
Having certain experiences,
New connections,
New relationships,
It can be overcoming mental,
Emotional,
Physical illness or sickness,
Anything that is an achievement for you,
No matter how small or how big.
I invite you to bring this to your heart and to your mind now,
Getting a strong feel of these experiences and these achievements.
Bathing in the positive emotions of joy,
Happiness,
Bliss,
Peace,
Contentment.
Allow yourself to be open to these beautiful feelings and emotions,
Reflecting on all of the achievements you have accomplished.
This is a time of celebration,
To celebrate yourself,
Celebrate life,
To celebrate you for all of the wonderful,
Beautiful,
Incredible things you have achieved.
Acknowledge your greatness,
Celebrate your greatness.
Keep breathing into your body,
Into your heart,
As you acknowledge all these wonderful achievements,
As you celebrate yourself right here,
Right now,
For the incredible being that you are,
For all that you are and all that you have achieved.
Celebrate yourself,
Love yourself,
Bringing your attention back to your breath and back to your heart now,
Taking a few moments here to yourself.
Now I invite you to bring to your mind and to your heart anything that no longer serves you,
Anything in this past year that you might still be holding on to,
That you wish to release,
That you wish to let go of.
Now is the time to let go,
To release.
You no longer need this.
What no longer brings you joy and happiness and peace and contentment.
Now is the time to let go,
To release.
As you exhale here,
You are breathing it out of your body,
Releasing and letting go,
With each exhale.
Keep breathing,
Keep releasing.
This is no longer you,
This no longer serves you.
You are releasing it from your body,
From your mind,
From your heart,
From your soul.
Keep breathing it out as you are making space for something new to be birthed.
Now,
Bringing your attention back to your breath and back to your heart for a moment,
As you connect back with your body,
After releasing and letting go what no longer serves you.
I invite you now to bring to your mind and to your heart all that you wish to achieve in this new year,
This new way of being,
This new way of living.
Now is an opportunity to plant them seeds,
To birth something new.
What are your intentions for the new year?
What does your heart and soul truly desire?
And now is a chance to manifest that,
To bring that into your life,
To call it forward.
As you breathe into your body and breathe into your heart space,
You are manifesting,
You are creating,
You are birthing something new.
And as you breathe in,
You can feel and visualize a white golden light,
Bringing forth all of your heart's desires,
Your new way of being.
Keep breathing this into your body,
Into your heart,
Into your soul,
And breathe it into your life.
Now open yourself to receiving all of the feelings,
The feelings of peace,
Contentment,
Joy,
Happiness and bliss.
You are birthing something new.
You are becoming more and more you,
Your true nature.
And keep breathing this into your body,
This white golden light.
You are manifesting your heart's truest desires.
And as you move into this new year,
This new you,
This new way of being,
This new life,
You are an incredible being.
You are love,
You are joy,
You are happiness.
You are enough.
Bringing your attention back to your breath,
As you breathe in and out of your body naturally.
And keeping your eyes closed,
Just starting to get a sense of your surroundings,
Feeling the ground beneath you,
Clothes pressing against your skin.
You can begin to move your hands,
Your feet,
Your fingers and your toes,
Stretching out in any way that serves you,
As you are slowly waking the body here.
And when you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
Thank you for meditating with me.
