Welcome to this guided meditation of planting seeds of happiness.
Please find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed,
Turning off or silence any distractions,
And find a comfortable seated position and softly close down your eyes if that's comfortable.
If you need to move at any point during this meditation,
That's okay to do so,
Just be sure to move mindfully.
We will begin by relaxing our mind and body by taking three deep cleansing breaths.
So on your next inhale,
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep inhale.
And a long,
Slow,
Full exhale.
As your body starts to relax,
Taking another long,
Slow,
Deep inhale.
As your stomach expands,
Your chest and shoulders rise.
And a complete full exhale as your mind and body are becoming more relaxed.
Taking one more long,
Slow,
Deep inhale,
Feeling your body expand.
And a complete full exhale,
Allowing any remaining stress and tension to drift away.
And return back to your natural breath,
As you breathe in and out of your nose naturally.
Taking your attention to the top of your head.
Allowing the crown of your head to relax.
As you continue that relaxation down into your forehead.
Relaxing the muscles around your eyes.
And relaxing deep into your eye sockets.
Softening your face,
Your nose,
Your cheeks.
Unclenching your jaw,
Allowing your tongue to rest away from the roof of your mouth.
Continuing that relaxation down into your throat and your neck.
Allowing your shoulders to become heavy and rest away from your ears.
Continuing that relaxation down into your upper arms,
Your lower arms,
Your hands and your fingers.
Relaxing into your chest and upper back,
Middle back and lower back.
Allowing your stomach to soften and to become heavy.
Continuing that relaxation down into your upper legs,
Your lower legs,
Your feet and your toes.
As your body is now completely relaxed,
You can return your attention back to your breath,
As you breathe in and out of your nose naturally.
If you get distracted at any time during this meditation by any external sounds,
Or if your attention drifts off into something else,
That is okay.
Just be kind to yourself and return your attention back to the meditation.
I want you to visualise,
Feel or imagine a place that is familiar to you,
A beautiful comforting place in nature.
This can be a place that is familiar to you,
Or somewhere in your imagination,
Whichever you choose.
And in this place in nature,
We are going to plant a seed.
So I want you to visualise,
Feel or imagine this beautiful place in nature.
Whether that is out in a field,
In the countryside,
In a forest,
At a beach,
In your back garden.
Really get a feel for this place,
The sights,
The colours,
The movements,
Are there any smells in the air?
What are the textures like?
Is there anything to touch?
Is there an abundance of life?
Are there animals?
What is the temperature like there?
Really immerse yourself in this place,
This comforting beautiful place.
Wherever this place is for you,
Feel the earth beneath your feet,
Your bare feet.
Whether that is in soft sand,
Beautiful grass and soil of the earth.
And in this place,
You find a perfect location to plant a seed.
The perfect conditions for your seed to grow.
And in this location,
You begin to use your bare hands,
Moving the ground away.
Just enough so you can plant your seed.
What does the ground feel like?
Are there any smells that come off it?
Really immerse yourself in this beautiful experience,
As you begin to place your seed into the earth.
And covering it back up,
You are doing this with love,
Compassion and kindness.
And the belief and the knowing that this seed is going to grow into something beautiful for you.
Once your seed is planted,
You sit beside it,
In this perfect location for this life to grow.
This seed can grow into a plant,
A flower,
A tree,
A crop,
Whatever it is for you.
You are giving this seed pure,
Unconditional love,
Attention,
Compassion and kindness,
In the perfect location,
The perfect conditions for it to grow.
Now bring to mind something in your life that you wish to grow,
That you want to flourish.
Whether that's a relationship,
A career,
Living conditions,
It can be your health,
It can be someone you know or something you know.
It doesn't necessarily have to be with you.
Whatever you bring to mind that you wish to grow and to flourish,
Give this the same care,
The same love that you gave the seed.
You are giving it the same conditions,
The same environment for it to grow,
To grow into something beautiful for you.
And just like the seed needs to be planted,
It needs to be cared for,
It needs to be watered,
It needs to be loved for it to grow into something beautiful,
The beautiful crop,
Plant,
Flower or tree.
Just like your intention of something that you want to grow and flourish in your life,
It needs to be planted,
It needs to be nourished and watered so it can grow into something beautiful.
Bring to mind how you will do that,
How are you going to water your seed,
What actions are you going to take,
What thoughts are you going to have,
What environment are you going to give it and what environment are you going to give yourself.
Giving yourself and this seed unconditional love,
Compassion and kindness no matter what or how it grows.
Not everything grows at the same speed,
In the same way,
We are all on our own journey,
Our own growth and it will grow and flourish how it is meant to.
As long as you keep watering this seed with love,
Kindness and compassion,
It will grow into something beautiful for you.
And you can visualise now this seed growing out of the ground and becoming the beautiful flower,
The plant,
The tree,
The crop,
Whatever it is you planted.
And you can visualise in your life your intention of growing,
Blossoming and flourishing.
How is that going to manifest in the physical world?
What will it look like,
What will it feel like and how will it make you feel?
Just like this seed that you have planted grows,
The seed that you planted inside yourself is also growing.
Really immerse yourself,
What does it feel like,
How does it look?
Embracing yourself,
The love,
Kindness and compassion,
Your seed has grown into something beautiful for you.
Just allow these feelings to wash over you,
To fill up your heart and to fill up your soul so you can carry these feelings with you throughout your day.
You can bring your attention back to your breath now as you breathe in and out of your nose naturally.
You can take your attention off your breath now and just sit in the stillness around you.
Sitting in this beautiful energy that you have surrounded yourself in.
You can begin to listen to the sounds that are around you and begin to get a sense of your surroundings.
Keeping your eyes closed you can start to move your fingers and your toes,
Your hands and your feet and stretch out into the space around you.
Starting off gazing down at the floor you can begin to open your eyes,
Taking your time coming back around.
