Sometimes the hardest part of healing is realizing that pieces of you were left behind in places where you had to survive.
You guys,
My name is Dana and after my own self-mastery journey of death,
Rebirth,
And embodying the Queen,
The Empress,
And the Goddess within me,
I received the name Iswa from a Chamanka,
Which is a female word for shaman,
During a sacred naming ceremony.
And now I help women,
Especially mothers,
Remember who they are,
Reclaim their voice,
And gather the pieces of themselves they thought were lost.
Welcome,
You guys,
To the Free To Be Me podcast.
Let's get into it!
Guys,
Listen,
Today we're gonna be talking about going to get your parts.
And let me stop right here.
I didn't title it that.
I titled it,
Go Get Your Parts.
And y'all know I want to scream like,
Go Get Your Parts!
We might get to that,
But I want to talk about this.
This was inspired by the live that I did recently on Auset,
Which is also known as Isis,
And she has many names,
You guys,
But Isis is one of the ones that she's most known for.
So in this myth,
Her beloved Osiris was killed,
And his body was scattered into pieces across the land.
And instead of surrendering to grief,
Isis began a journey,
And she traveled across the earth searching for every piece,
And one by one,
She gathered them.
And piece by piece,
She brought him back together.
Now,
When I first heard this story,
I realized something very powerful.
And actually,
This is not the first time I've heard it,
But when I revisited this story,
I should say.
So the story of Isis is not just mythology,
It's actually a reflection of the human experience.
And I remember being in a teacher's live on Inside Timer,
Miss Myesha,
And she had been teaching about parts for a while,
I believe.
But most of the time,
I would miss her because of my family's schedule,
But when I feel called,
I answer the call,
And one day I felt that call,
And I answered.
So I showed up on her live,
And I listened,
And I was just like,
Wow,
This is very interesting.
Now,
At the time,
I had already posted my live about Isis,
But I never made the connection.
Not until a few days later did it hit me.
And the day before my live,
I received the message,
Go get your parts.
And you guys,
I had to message her.
I was like,
I gotta message her and let her know,
Oh my gosh,
Oh my gosh,
Like it makes sense.
It's like,
Well,
I had to be in that live.
And although I didn't get to be in it the entire live,
I believe I was there to hear what I needed to hear,
And that was it.
And really,
It was just one section.
But I was like,
Oh my gosh,
Like I don't even remember what was said.
All I know is it was meant to bring my attention back to parts.
And at the time,
I did not.
I was just like,
Okay,
You know,
Just listening in and just,
You know,
Being present.
And so I received that message,
Go get your parts.
And I believe that sometimes we need to hear things over and over for them to finally settle in.
And as a dance instructor for many years,
Repetition was never my favorite thing.
I wanted to keep evolving and I wanted to keep moving forward,
But I couldn't evolve past where my students were.
Or could I?
That's another message y'all for another day.
So y'all gotta stay tuned because I can't wait to go into that.
Like,
It's like I get messages within the message within the message.
Alright guys,
Back to the message.
Life has a way of scattering our pieces.
The real question is,
Will you leave them there or will you go collect what you left and then alchemize it and reclaim your crown?
Because I believe that is exactly what Auset slash Isis.
I don't even know which one to really say.
I'm gonna say Isis because I know everybody's gonna recognize that name even more.
But there's so much power in her original name,
Which is Auset too.
So I'm just gonna keep flowing guys.
But maybe a piece of you was left in a relationship that changed you.
Maybe another piece was left in a moment where you had to silence your voice just to keep peace.
And I know that can be very hard.
Maybe a piece of you is still sitting inside a dream that once felt possible but slowly faded into the background.
And over time you might wake up and feel like something is missing.
But it's not because you're broken,
But it's because parts of you are still sitting in places where you experience the pain,
Where you experience the disappointment,
And where you experience survival mode.
This might be the only time I say this y'all.
But can I get an Ashe?
Ashe!
Look,
I want to say Ashe y'all,
Right?
Oh,
Oh my gosh guys.
Think about that for a second.
Think about parts as energy,
Right?
Where did you leave your energy and why haven't you reclaimed it yet?
Healing is not always about becoming someone new.
Some healing sometimes is the process of remembering or returning to yourself.
Remembering your power.
Remembering your essence while you're living in that human avatar.
Remembering the confidence you once had.
Remembering the dreams you once believed in.
Remembering the voice that knew how to speak truth without apology.
And it's also remembering that you were created to evolve,
Not just exist.
Come on y'all.
What we doing?
We just existed out here.
We were created to evolve.
And every time you choose yourself,
You gather peace.
And every time you set a boundary,
You gather peace.
And every time you allow yourself to be seen,
You gather a peace.
The journey of healing is not about perfection.
See,
I know a lot of us,
We get hung up on the word perfection and what it actually means.
You know how it shows up in our life all the time.
And a lot of people are trying to overcome just the word perfection.
It's about compassion for the version of you that survived everything you have been through.
It's about compassion for the version of you that survived everything you have been through.
And slowly,
Gently,
You begin to return to yourself.
Peace by peace.
And whoever said you had to rush?
Who said that you had to have it all together before you begin the process?
And I want you to ask yourself this,
Okay?
What thoughts am I having that are preventing me from collecting every piece I left?
And what am I going to do about it now?
I'm not talking about tomorrow.
I'm talking about right now.
Right when you get the message,
What am I going to do?
I'm going to say that again,
Though.
I like to say this.
I'm going to say that for the people in the back.
What thoughts am I having that are preventing me from collecting every piece I left?
And what am I going to do about it now?
Come on,
Y'all.
So,
If you feel like life has taken parts of you along the way,
I want to offer you a simple message today.
Go get your parts.
Guys,
It's time to stop judging ourselves and others.
It's time to stop procrastinating when we already know what to do and how to do it.
And it's time to take back what's ours.
Because I'm telling y'all,
It's time to look.
We taking our thrones back.
We taking our crowns back.
I don't know about you.
I don't know about you,
But I'm taking mines back.
Matter of fact,
I've already taken it back.
Come on.
Because,
Baby,
You deserve it.
And those pieces are not lost forever.
They're just waiting for you to remember them.
And once you remember them,
You can reclaim them.
So,
Guys,
Guys,
Guys,
Listen,
Listen,
Listen,
Listen,
Listen.
My last question for you,
I want you to really think about this.
Really,
Really think.
Will you go get your parts or will you keep waiting to see if they come back to you first?
Hey!
What?
Will you go get your parts or will you keep waiting to see if they come back to you first?
Waiting and waiting and waiting.
Waiting for the apology.
Waiting for somebody to say the right thing.
Waiting for that door to open up.
Waiting for that particular opportunity.
Waiting for you to be pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed out of your comfort zone enough to where you realize,
Like,
Okay,
Wait a minute.
I'm supposed to be doing this.
Go get your parts.
Stop waiting for them to come to you first.
Why not go get them?
Why not?
Why not go get them?
What are you waiting for?
They're yours.
That's your energy.
It has your name on it.
Come on.
And it's meant for you.
For you first.
And then you can share it.
Once you embody that energy,
Then you can share it.
But for you first.
So go get that energy that you've been leaving in all these different places from these past experiences that are only reliving itself within the mind,
Not even physically.
Oh yeah,
Because you can't go back.
The only place we can go back and revisit that is through our mind,
Through our thoughts.
And then those thoughts produce the same actions.
Come on.
So y'all,
It's time to go get our parts.
I love y'all so much.
And I want to thank you for listening to this and for just being in a sacred space with me.
I wanted to do something that was just short and quick that could just bring the message forth and bring the words to my article alive.
So you guys,
Thank you so much.
Thank you,
Ase.
Thank you,
Isis.
And my spirit tribe for showing up and showing out.
You know,
You guys,
If this touched you in any way,
If you resonated,
If you're ready to go get your freaking parts,
I want you to leave a comment and let me know how this message touched you.
Let me know that you're going.
I want y'all to comment.
I'm going.
I'm going.
You can even say I'm going to get my parts or I've got my parts.
I don't know.
I don't care.
Just let me know something.
Y'all,
I'm so grateful to have grown in a way that allows me to uplift others and continue learning from others and admit that sometimes I need help too.
But I want to offer you guys a bonus today.
I want y'all to think about this.
Sometimes you don't have to gather your pieces alone.
Sometimes you are sent help.
Angels and guides and spirit animals and star seed families and ancestors.
Sometimes they even show up in the physical because you're just that special.
So don't you dare try to do it alone because you don't have to.
But if you choose to,
That's okay too,
Because you're going to get to where you need to get to regardless.
I love y'all so much.
Remember that you are magic.
So today,
Be magical,
Spread love,
And share your freaking story because you deserve to be heard.
And someone out there is waiting to hear from you.
I love y'all.
It's Iswa.
I'll see y'all again in the next one.
Peace.
