What if I told you being tired isn't always about needing more sleep?
Sometimes your body is actually telling you something a whole lot deeper.
So let's talk about being tired.
Not the kind of tire that comes from a busy day.
I'm talking about the kind of tired where you wake up absolutely exhausted.
You sleep all night,
But somehow you never feel rested.
You have absolutely no motivation,
Your brain always feels incredibly foggy,
And even the smallest of tasks feels absolutely overwhelming.
If you've ever felt like that.
This video is for you.
The first thing I always say is this.
Our bodies are really incredibly intelligent.
Being tired is not a character flaw.
No,
It's also not laziness.
It isn't because you're not trying hard enough.
Is actually often your body's way of saying,
Please slow down.
I need your attention.
Let's look at it holistically.
Because there usually isn't just one reason,
It's often a combination of many little things.
We've got emotional exhaustion.
Have you always been carrying everybody else's emotions?
Always being the strong ones.
A fixer.
Then the snap.
The one who says,
I'm fine.
When in actual fact you really aren't.
That kind of emotional weight is incredibly heavy.
Sometimes your body becomes tired.
Because your heart has been carrying so much for just a moment.
So long.
Is another one?
This note only comes from words.
Stress can also come from financial worries,
Relationship challenges,
Constant overthinking,
Grief.
Change.
Even exciting life events can cause stress.
When our nervous system is constantly switched on.
Our bodies never really get the chance to rest.
And this is what happens when you're always stressed.
Your nervous system is constantly switched on.
So eventually it starts asking for us please to rest.
Your habits also matter.
Ask yourself,
Am I drinking enough water?
Am I nourishing my body?
Am I moving every day?
Exercise,
Very important.
Am I spending every spare minute I have?
Looking at a screen.
Am at truly giving myself.
Enough permission to rest.
Or do I only rest when I'm totally and utterly burnt out?
Sometimes our bodies aren't asking for more sleep,
Guys.
They're asking for better care.
Relationships can also drain us.
Have you ever spent time with somebody and afterwards you feel better?
Exhausted.
We've all experienced it.
Some relationships nourish us.
Others leave us.
Absolutely exhausted.
And depleted.
Now that doesn't really make somebody or automatically make them a bad person.
But it might just be a sign that your boundaries need some attention.
So pay attention to how people make you feel.
Your energy notices long before your mind does.
And this brings me to spirituality.
If this resonates with your beliefs,
That is.
Sometimes tiredness can also just be a gentle invitation.
An invitation to pause.
To reconnect with yourself.
Maybe just spend time in nature.
To meditate,
To pray,
To breathe.
To simply be.
Sometimes we've become so busy doing.
That we've actually forgotten.
How to just exist.
And then we look at the energetic perspective.
When we are constantly giving without taking any time to replenish ourselves.
Our energies actually begin to feel depleted.
It's a little bit like trying to pour water from an empty cup.
And eventually,
You've just got nothing left.
To give.
That doesn't mean that there's anything wrong with you.
It simply means it's time to refocus.
Your own capital.
But here's something really important.
If you're feeling tired all the time,
Please don't ignore it.
Persistent fatigue can also have physical causes.
Here we think low iron,
Vitamin deficiencies,
Hormonal changes,
Sleep disorders,
Thyroid conditions.
Or many other health concerns.
It's always worth chatting to a healthcare practitioner.
Or provider if your tiredness is ongoing.
Unexplained or affecting your daily life.
Looking after your health means.
That you are caring for your whole self.
Body,
Mind,
And spirit.
So maybe today,
Instead of asking,
Why am I so lazy?
Try asking what?
Is my body trying to tell me.
Sometimes just rephrasing the question.
Actually changes everything.
Your body whispers before it shouts.
The more we learn to listen.
The list.
It has to fight.
For our attention.
Iceberg.
That today.
I've reminded you to be yourself.
A little kinder to yourself.
Healing isn't always about doing more.
Sometime.
It's about listening more.
Thank you for spending a few minutes with me today.
