Pause for a moment and breath. This guided meditation is designed to help you pause, breathe, and reflect. It's a quick meditation, lasting about 5 minutes. My hope is that it will help you reset after a chaotic moment, day, or week. Yes, and so it is!

So I'd like you to start by gently closing your eyes and taking a deep breath through your nose,

Filling your lungs with air.

I'd like you to hold it just for a moment and then slowly exhale through your mouth.

I'd like you to feel the tension leaving your body with each exhale.

Now bring awareness to the present moment.

Notice the sensation of the air entering and leaving your body.

As you breathe in,

Imagine you are inhaling calm and positive energy and as you exhale,

Release any stress or negativity.

Let's focus on the rhythm of your breath.

So inhale for a count of four.

I'd like you to hold for a count of four and then exhale for a count of six.

So let's do that together.

In for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Release for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Again,

Breathe in for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And exhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Again,

One more time.

Inhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

Hold for one,

Two,

Three.

Exhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Five,

Six.

So good.

So good.

So I'd like you to take your breath back to a normal space or pace.

And then as you breathe in and you breathe out,

With each breath in,

Visualize a warm golden light spreading throughout your body.

Imagine it starting from the top of your head and gradually moving down to your toes.

This light represents love,

Self-compassion,

And acceptance for yourself.

And as you continue breathing,

I'd like you to repeat this affirmation silently to yourself.

What if I am worthy of love?

What if I am deserving of inner peace?

And what if I choose to love myself fully?

So let's take one more deep cleansing breath in.

Deep cleansing breath outside out.

And as you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back into this room.

Look at your fingers,

Your toes,

And gently open your eyes.

So carry this sense of calm and self-love with you as you go throughout your day.

May you feel loved.

May you feel supported.

May you feel so much compassion today.

And so it is.
