Hello my name is Annabelle and today we're going to be doing a loving awareness meditation.
So get comfortable,
Take a seat.
If you need some cushions or something to make you even more comfortable grab them because you don't want to be in pain.
That's not the point of meditation.
You want to be comfortable and cozy.
You want to make this the most relaxing spot and place of your day so that you can come back every day looking forward to it and you will naturally get better.
Have straighter posture,
Meditate longer but at the moment you are doing enough.
So when you're ready I invite you to close your eyes and breathe in through your nose.
Breathing down into your belly feeling your stomach rise on your inhale and fall on your exhale.
Breathing out through the mouth.
We'll do this twice more.
In through the nose deep breath and out through the mouth.
Listening to everything in your surroundings and mind.
You may hear the Australian wildlife,
You may hear whatever is surrounding you.
Allowing and accepting.
Now we're going to do some heart centered breathing.
So continuing that deep breath but instead of taking it all the way down,
Keeping your focus on your heart,
The center of your chest.
Allowing this area to expand and to fill with energy and joy.
Exhaling anything in this area that doesn't serve you anymore.
Any tension,
Discomfort and allowing yourself to relax even more.
Allowing yourself to find even more peace with each breath.
Knowing you are safe,
You are calm and you are loved.
And now we're gonna bring in a mantra.
So I invite you to say out loud after me.
May I be happy.
May I be healthy.
May I be safe.
May I be at ease.
We're gonna do this a few more times.
With each time you say these words I want you to connect with this heart space and start to feel this loving warm energy fill your entire body.
May I be happy.
May I be healthy.
May I be safe.
May I be at ease.
And again allowing this energy to deepen into every single cell in the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
May I be happy.
May I be healthy.
May I be safe.
May I be at ease.
Now putting a smile on your face and repeating it one final time.
May I be happy.
May I be healthy.
May I be safe.
May I be at ease.
Now I invite you to think of someone close to you.
Who you love dearly.
I want you to imagine them in front of you and saying these words to them.
We're gonna say a similar mantra but this time not just connecting with ourselves but those that we love.
So getting this one person in mind and now repeat after me.
May this person's name be happy.
May this person's name be healthy.
May this person's name be safe.
May this person's name be at ease.
And now imagine that warm energy that has filled your body expanding and starting to fill theirs.
And they're able to feel and receive every little bit of love,
Of kindness,
Of energy that you are sending to them.
And repeat again.
May this person's name be happy.
May this person's name be healthy.
May this person's name be safe.
And may this person's name be at ease.
Doing this once more.
This time with a smile on your face if you don't already have one.
Really connecting to your heart center and sending it outwards.
So it fills every cell of their body as well.
May this person's name be happy.
May this person's name be healthy.
May this person's name be safe.
And may this person's name be at ease.
Feeling how easy it was to give that love that they deserve.
How easy it was to share love and appreciation for them.
And now I invite us to do one more.
This time instead of sending the love to someone that we're close with,
I invite you to widen the circle a little to maybe an acquaintance or someone that you've been through a hard time with,
That you may not have the best relationship with.
Whoever has come to your mind first,
Allow them.
There is no right or wrong.
So imagine them standing in front of you and with your overpour of infinite love say may this person's name be happy.
May this person's name be healthy.
May this person's name be safe.
May this person's name be at ease.
And again may this person's name be happy.
May this person's name be healthy.
May this person's name be safe.
May this person's name be at ease.
And final time with a smile on your face.
May this person's name be happy.
May this person's name be healthy.
May this person's name be safe.
And may this person's name be at ease.
Feeling how much easier it is to connect with this person now after sending them that love.
And how easy it was.
Taking a moment again to connect to your heart center.
We're gonna take three deep breaths into this area.
And final deep breath.
When you're ready you can either place your hands on your heart or start to move your fingers around.
When you're ready blinking your eyes open.
Coming back to a more loving world than what you left.
Because you created and shared that love.
