A gentle start to your day Let's begin this new day together with softness and intention Take a moment to settle wherever you are You might be sitting,

Lying down or just pausing for a breath before the day begins Notice your body Feel the support beneath you You don't need to fix or change anything Just arrive Gently bring your attention to your breath Not to control it,

But simply to feel it Let each inhale be an invitation to arrive Let each exhale be a gentle release Perhaps you softly lengthen your out-breath Now,

Begin to scan through your body Notice what's here without judgement Tension Tiredness Stillness Or something else entirely There is no right way to feel You're just meeting yourself If you notice your mind begin to race ahead into plans,

Worries or distractions gently invite it back You can begin again with a breath This moment is enough You are enough Now,

As we near the end of this short practice ask yourself gently What kind of day do I want to create?

What do I need most right now?

Carry your answer with you as a quiet intention a thread to return to if the day gets noisy And when you're ready open your eyes wiggle your fingers or toes and step into your day with care You're doing just fine

Loved it thanks! It helped me get started a lot quicker, I was able to use your meditation as a timer. Which was great as I routinely have problems losing track of the time due to time blindness.
