Welcome.
Find a comfortable position,
Whether seated or lying down.
Today,
We're going to do something a little different.
Before we move into affirmations,
We're going to work with the body first.
When we soften the body,
We soften the mind.
And when we soften the mind,
We become truly available to the words we want to land within us.
We're going to gently trace the heart channel.
Beginning in the armpit and extending to the pinky finger.
This is the channel of joy,
Connection,
And love.
Take a slow inhale through your nose and a long,
Easy exhale through your mouth.
Let that exhale carry a sound.
Filling the chest,
The ribs,
The belly,
And out through the mouth.
Now,
If you feel comfortable,
Bring your arms out wide to your sides.
Hands facing upward toward the ceiling or towards the sky.
Allow your elbows to be soft,
With your chest gently lifted.
This is a surrender posture.
Open arms,
Open hands,
And open heart.
This posture will act as a body affirmation.
I am not holding anything right now.
I am available.
Let your shoulders melt away from your ears.
And soften the space between your eyebrows.
Now bring your right hand to rest in your lap if you're seated.
We're going to work with the inside of your left arm.
The inside,
The tender side.
You can use your fingertips to press and circle each point.
Or simply rest and imagine and follow along.
Reach your right hand into your left armpit.
Gently find the soft,
Sometimes tender area.
Press gently.
As you breathe in and breathe out,
Imagine that your breath is traveling down through your chest and into your arm.
Massage or tap the area.
Now move your hand to the inside of your left elbow.
With your elbow slightly bent,
Find the spot at the end of the crease on the inside of your arm closest to your body.
This is a beautiful point to quiet anxious thoughts.
So calm the chatter in your mind when the heart has been working too hard.
Press this point gently on the side closest to the ring finger.
This is the very end of the heart channel.
And the eye open to receive without resistance.
I am supported in ways seen and unseen.
My body knows how to rest.
I no longer need to carry.
I do not chase,
I welcome.
I soften into this moment,
Trusting that I am safe to rest open for all that is meant for me.
In this space of rest,
Life flows to me in perfect harmony.
