Hi,

This is Fran Chandler and welcome to this meditation,

The beauty of simple things.

Find a comfortable seat or even lie down and then just let your hands rest softly and allow your eyes to close.

Take a slow,

Steady breath in through your nose and an easy breath out.

Just give yourself permission to arrive now.

Let your next inhale lengthen just a bit and your exhale release any tension you notice in your shoulders,

Your jaw,

Your belly.

Settle into the quiet rhythm of your own breath.

Begin by imagining that the space around you is becoming a little more spacious with each breath.

Nothing dramatic,

Just a soft sense of openness.

It's like clearing a small corner of a room so you could finally see the floor.

Let this first layer of simplicity begin inside your body.

Notice your breath.

Notice the gentle rise and fall.

And then just let yourself anchor to the simplest truth here.

You are breathing and that is enough.

As you breathe,

Imagine your breath creating little pockets of ease.

Each inhale gathers what you need.

Each exhale lets go of what is unnecessary.

Think of it as making room,

Making space.

Now bring your attention to your mind.

You might notice moving thoughts trying to stack themselves on top of each other.

Instead of holding them,

Imagine placing each one on a small leaf and just letting it float down a quiet stream.

You don't have to push them away.

You simply let them drift.

One thought,

One leaf,

One gentle release.

Allow your breath to soften again.

Feel a quiet beginning to settle in your chest.

Feel how simplicity doesn't mean empty or lacking.

It means clarity.

It means choosing what truly supports you and letting everything else step aside.

With your next inhale,

Picture a warm light gathering at your heart center.

This light represents what is essential.

Peace,

Presence,

Love,

And truth.

As this light glows,

It gently dissolves the clutter inside of you.

Any tension,

Any worry,

Any shoulds,

Any layers you've been carrying.

Just let them soften.

Let them melt.

Let them fall away.

Notice how your breath feels now.

Notice the space inside your ribcage.

Notice the simplicity returning to your inner landscape.

Now imagine you're standing in a wide open field.

The sky is clear.

The air is gentle.

There is nothing you need to fix or figure out here.

Nothing competing for your attention.

You feel grounded.

Your feet steady on the earth.

Your heart open.

Your mind is quiet.

Take a deep breath and feel that simplicity move through you like a soft breeze.

It clears the path.

It reveals what matters.

It invites you back to yourself.

Stay here for a moment and allow these words to settle into your body.

I choose what aligns.

I release what overwhelms.

I return to what is simple and true.

Feel how your body responds to these words.

Maybe a little more ease in your shoulders.

Maybe a longer exhale.

Maybe a feeling of returning home to yourself.

Begin to bring your awareness back to your breath.

Slow.

Steady.

Clear.

Let that breath remind you that simplicity is always available.

It lives in these small moments of presence.

When you're ready,

Start to invite movement back into your fingers and your toes.

Roll your shoulders.

Just stretch in any way that feels natural.

Take one final slow breath in.

And a long breath out.

As you open your eyes,

Carry this simplicity with you.

Let it shape how you move.

What you say yes to.

And what you gently release.

You are enough.

This moment is enough.

And simplicity is always one breath away.
